I've made a short record of games played by FKL. Also, if you want to meet up, I have these games. Also, if there's any before GunZ, let me know, as I wasn't around much before then.

GunZ

DOMO(Dream of Mirror Online)

As for joining up for nostalgia, it's up to you. I'm still currently on all of these games, though the one I most recently logged into was DOMO.

As per Van.

That list is missing alot.

I was trying to get DOMO to work for my friend but his computer sucked too bad

Wow. It runs fine for me and my comp is fairly old...

TalHex

his computer didn't even make the minimum requirements

Wow. I suppose it must be really old/was never built with games in mind.

TalHex
Jun 19, 2008, 08:23 PM
wasn't built in mind of gaming, just having one window open caused it too lag pretty bad, it need more RAM, a better graphics card wouldn't hurt it, hell and it probably needs a good vacuuming of all the dust in it too (for some reason my computer always works better after i vacuum out all that dust... it probably slows down the computer some what)

Fraxy; if anyone can still find it, the Guilty Gear game; BattleField2142 demo; shattered galaxies; lunia: record of lunia war

Mabinogi.
It's really fun, but it seems only me, Shiina, and Tessu have played. Or at least the only ones on my friendslist.

i tried it and didn't really think to much of it, i might try it again if i can figure out how to integrate a controller into the game

I might try it, depending on how much is paid vs free.

I might try it, depending on how much is paid vs free.

Things you have to pay for:
-Packages-
Advanced Play Package - Daily items for each character you have that are quite nice (Mass Holy Water, Dye Ampules, etc.)
Extended Storage Package - Double bank space, linked character banking, personal shop, etc.
Nao Support Service - Full Health/Stamina/Mana revives with blessing, 1 per ingame day, stacks up to three. Three real-life day escape bombs. Character birthday presents.

I think it's like $9.50 for one, or $14.90 for all three combined. 30 Day period.

-Character-
One free card included with every account.

Rebirthing, or creating a second/third/etc character requires either:
Basic Card: Limited hair/eye/etc choices. $7.90
Premium Card: All choices available. Fancier starting clothes. $9.50

-Pets-

Pets do not expire, but they can only be summoned for (thus far) 92 to 116 real-life minutes per day. Resets at 7 AM PST.
From $2.90-5.50 per pet at the moment, depending on which.

-Mainstream Quests-

Playing the big, involved main-storyline quests requires that you have any of the three packages currently subscribed. Ditto with using Paladin transformation. Normal quests can be done without subscription.

-Ingame Cash Shop-

There's a cash shop you can only access ingame that will sell you extra copies of the Advanced Play Package items, if you really need some. You can also purchase Age Potions which change your appearance, and Gacahpons, which is like gambling. You can get junk, or very nice things. These go for about $0.30 at the cheapest to about $2.10 for a stack of mass holy water. Or something like that.

I think that should be about it. They're mostly perks, though one could argue that rebirthing is more or less a requirement. And I mean, we all like mainstream quests.

You DO get a free one-week trial of both Nao Support and Extended Storage, however.

Also, the Korean Version limits you to two hours of play per real life day, unless you get a package. The NA version has no limit on play, even if you don't pay a cent.

*insert faint here*

Bleh, too much content seems paid-for for my tastes...

TalHex
Jun 19, 2008, 08:59 PM
thats the reason why i never got into it, only one race as well and half of the customization features for the characters you have to pay for

Eh, it's not everyone's cup of tea. I really rather enjoy it, though. You get from it the amount of work you put into it. Comparing my current character to how I used to be, the difference is amazing.

That and the quirky things to do. Cutscene food if you make something 5-star, the composing, smithing, etc.

The combat system takes a good amount of effort to learn, though. You can tell who's tried something similar before and who goes for the 'LOL CLICK UNTIL IT DIES' attempt.

Doing that is horrible, horrible death.

TalHex

yeah the combat system is pretty good, and so are the graphics, i just couldn't get into it, call me a barbarian but i prefer DOMO's point and click kill system with the only strategy in the buffs and debuffs (you don't do buffs in DOMO and you won't last 5 seconds as i think nitro random and i all learned the hard way when we first started playing it)

Fraxy: Just Google it. I should have you guys battle my Laser Ring.

Battlefield 2142 Demo: They had one?

Lunia: I just uninstalled it to tidy up a bit. :disapprove:

Haha, I know. Sometimes I wish I could just click click click and have things die, but at the same time it's kind of fun to learn something's pattern so that I can completely dominate it, until I get overconfident, mess up, and die.

heh the mmo which i really wanted to play was still in development, first it was all free, then the people on the forum voted to make it all pay for play (bastards), then the lead developer just posted a note on the site one day saying that the game and the site was under deconstruction because some company gave him a better offer (bastard), it was almost in the beta stages too...

I'm not gonna count Fraxy Sord this time, mainly because it wasn't an online game we could play as a group, i.e. meet up and stuff.

Would there even be a point for Battlefield?

Shattered Galaxies...never heard of it.

Lunia, meh. I suppose I could put that up, though I didn't really like it.

Sometimes I still miss my first MMO. It had such an amazingly designed story and developer involvement, with major monthly updates and main 'arcs' in the story.

That being Asheron's Call.

Shattered Galaxies is a real-time strategy MMORPG. Players are commanders of groups of robots that kill stuff.

Please? I'm intensely bored, and I don't play something, I'll go back to trying to get every Mega chip in MMBN3Blue. >_<

aww man i can't even remember the name of that mmo now, it was mostly an anthro-style character one but the graphics were really good, something along the lines of antalia...

Oh dang ;( it ran very smooth for me as long as I didn't get any instant messages. Which happened every time I played which is why I don't play too much. Some of those games I listed you may not want up there *cough* War Rock *cough* cause they suck. Shattered Galaxy wins for awesome though.

Currently I'm in the process of downloading this game so I can try out the pirate class
http://www.bountybayonline.com/Start

I'll tell you how it is since it's a pretty big download and if it turns out bad I wouldn't want people to download so much for something that sucks.

TalHex

no it literally killed my computer, starting the game would cause a complete computer crash

The only games even worth touching are Shattered Galaxy and Battlefield. Drift City and Gunz were ok for awhile but they get way too grindy, pay shoppy and glitchy in the end.

WE MUST UNITE FOR SHATTERED GALAXY AND 2142.

Updated per Van. :clown:

The Space Cowboy link doesn't lead to that game.

VanHalen

I guess they don't support it anymore, good for them. Though they do have "Upshit"(Upshift), which was the crappy Drift City.
