During GM live support , GM named Sage told that the max lv online will be higher than 200.

Do you think it's a new lie from Segac ?

wow. over level 200. insane. perhaps 250 or 300 if its going to happen.
Sega has always stayed with the traditional 200 mark though.
You never know for sure until revealed. ^_^

I believe it to a degree.

So many people have already reached the level cap of now. Every time we get it raised a bit, they max it out again. Plus there won't be much of a story after the end of episode 3. So why not kick it up a notch and give us higher than 200 to compensate.

or they could release an adventure expansion were you can purchase vehicles and travel to dungeons on the planet that are really big and don't have missions attached to them, and may have side quests possibly. you hearing this sega! maybe a good idea for the next expansion!

Technically it would be easy to do but there will have to be some kind of major change to missions if they don't make S3s and above. Imagine being 2x-3x the lvl monsters are in current S2s.

If job lv increases proportionaly, lv200 means lv30 jobs.
lv300 means jobs lv50 -> fortefighter beast with 10k HP lol

Since jp is getting lvl 160 cap around september, that could be the last lvl cap before a possible next expansion, and in the next expansion...well, the cap could be higher than 200, but it's possible that it could just be 200, and nothing more.

Over 200? That's very... interesting. I can't see them not releasing S3 missions or another expansion now.

Imagine us doing the current S2 missions; it's a stretch even for LV200.

ugh card games....

anyway i'm positive they'll make S3 anyway. with all the missions items that japan is getting from higher level bosses like deghana level 150 etc. they either HAVE to make S3 or continue to make more missions that just start out at much higher levels. or there wont be a point in playing over half the missions that are out because we'll all be at 200 (or higher) 200 will still be bad enough running through whitebeast S in less than 5 minutes solo.

They won't make S3, they'll just increase mobs lv when we will reach lv 160-170 , which is mobs lv from AOTI S2 mish. And some 13-15* drops at S2 AOTI mish and they wont make 16-18* lol

and how do you suppose new players will level up if all they do is increase the existing mobs levels? that doesn't make sense. the only thing they CAN do is make S3 or make NEW missions. they wont just increase the levels of already existing enemies.

Maybe rebalancing the old missions. All aoi missions except Awoken Serpent and Caves of Ice are getting lvl 150+ monsters on S2 (Sacred Stream, White Beast, Sakura Blast, Scarred Planet, Lightning Beasts, Electronic Brain and 2 new ones...all of those got monsters lvl 150 or higher on S2 difficulty). One thing that would be possible is to change the psu v1 missions and also the aoi ones with monsters below lvl 150 on S2 (caves of ice and awoken serpent) so they have at least something like this:
C - between lvl 5+ and lvl 20+ monsters
B - between lvl 25+ and lvl 45+
A - between lvl 50+ and lvl 95+
S - between lvl 100+ and lvl 145+
S2 - between lvl 150+ and...dunno 175+? 200+?
Currently those missions on S2 have monsters between lvl 80 and 115, this would make them be on par with the recently released aoi missions on jp.

Other option would be to release S3 difficulty for the v1 missions and have lvl 150+ monsters on those...but it was said by a GM some time ago that there were no plans to release S3 missions (they also said that there were no plans for a future expansion, but most likely there will be one, there should be one to at least have episode 3 story offline, like aoi have ep2 story offline XD).

When the cap gets high enough so lvl 150 - 175 or 150 - 200 monsters are too weak, then there should be a S3 difficulty with them at lvl 175 - 200 or 200+

I love how I can go somewhere and do an S2 mission with level 85 creatures but then go and do an S rank mission with level 100 creatures. Sega needs to balance this game out before they even think of dragging the cap higher.

During the moatoob live support on june 17, I asked if there were plans to rebalance old missions...sage answered that it could be possible, but it could never happen though x.x

(btw didn't posted this in the topic I made about the june 17 live support log because I don't think it was important to put there ^^;)

One thing that could be a problem to get lvl 100+ monsters on mine defense and valley of carnage would be lapucha x.x
Lapucha drops arb boa board at lvl 100+, which is aoi only...what they could do about that is they dropping a different thing at lvl 100+ on those v1 missions.

(Also if someday there would be lvl 150+ monsters on S2 v1 missions, those would have to be aoi only ^^;)

It would be fun to see missions with really high level monsters though, the missions with the higher levels monsters are the ones I have the most fun with. As for a level 200 plus level cap that would be insane :razz: But I cant see it going past 200 it would take forever to Max your levels out But then again with higher level monsters there would be more exp given out for a kill, and then when an event with an EXP boost came out with those monsters it would be kinda fun :razz:

New players wouldn't lose anything...posted on official psu forums (suggestions and ideas part) this, my idea of a possible rebalance:

For example Unsafe Passage could have the lowest lvl monsters other than the tutorial mission, which has lvl 1 monsters:
C - lvl 5 (or lvl 1, if lvl 5 is too much for a new player)
B - lvl 20
A - lvl 50
S - lvl 100
S2 - lvl 150

Fight for Food:
C - lvl 10/15 (or 5/10)
B - lvl 25/30
A - lvl 55/60
S - lvl 105/110
S2 - lvl 155/160

Parum: Mad Creatures, Train Rescue, AMF HQ Recovery, Scarred Planet.
Neudaiz: Mizuraki Defense, Forested Islands, Sacred Stream.

They like to have some monsters at the end of a version to be higher than the lvl cap. Anyone who thinks AOI won't have at least a lvl 200 cap is mistaken. So they will have to put lvl 200+ monsters somewhere.

I'm hoping to see a level cap 200, about two years from now. People will get bored. Bored people leads to less play. Less play eventually leads to not playing at all. Not playing at all leads to cancellation of account. Cancellation of account leads to no more monthly payment. Need I go further?

hmm some1 said that this game is gonna last for 5 years. and since we r getting a new cap every 2-3(i think) months then we might have the 200 cap during next spring/summer.
to not be able to Lv upp again for the remaning say 2 1/2 years seems strange and boring to me.

I think it could be true. but i wish sega could let us have hoverboards so it was quicker and you could attack on them that would be awsome
