I'm sure you'd find a lot of this stuff is like amazon.com recommendations. The nature tends to follow your trends of what you do and where you've been.

Not that it would help, but have you ever thought of just blocking screenames that send you stuff like that?

believe it or not i do, i'm beginning to suspect that its one of these
1) somebody really does have a crush on me
2) a company has figured out how to generate spontaneous AIM screen names

unfortunately its probably the later of the two

Another thing I would like to point out is that I don't get any of these messages. I guess people don't like hermaphrodites. :wacko:

I used to for a bit. They stopped and I remember one of them I kept their s/n to see if it will sign back on again. After I IM'd it back it I never got them again.

"Hey baby, what happen last night? Can I see some more pics of you :)"
*bot signs off immediately*

Now I just have to find a way to get rid of them on Myspace :disapprove:.

Yeah I should do that the next time I log on. Though its been very little problems from them lately. In January it was annoying.

I never get those because I don't do the stupid shit required to have those bots finding my computer ~_o

However, REAL people messaging me and confessing unrequited love? Yeah, that's pretty common.

I only got them on MSN, recently, like 5 of them at once.

I was like "no u" and blocked them.

it was funny i checked the AIM profile on one of them and it actually had a user pic a couple lines written in the summary and a few friends XD
