I feel like just playing PSU JP now. I am not easily angered or upset, but I am disappointed in the lack of direction of Sega of America's PSU team. I don't completely blame them, as Sonic Team Japan does not give Sonic Team USA sufficient control over their own servers. I suppose it's disturbing that I'm going to pay for a month of PSU just for casino chips to put down toward the Jou-on Soul [sic].

There is definitely a reason half of my friends left in the last month for Final Fantasy XI and are never coming back. And just screw MAG. Nobody wants to run it for another two weeks non-stop. I agree that we somewhat deserve the last two unlockable rewards if not for just putting up with the constant delays. MAG round two would only further complicate the already lagging release schedule.

The only thing holding me back from switching to JP is my lack of knowledge in Japanese. Ya, I've gathered a lot of cash and good items on the NA/EU servers, but none of that even matters if I can't have fun with the game.

I play this to get away from the usual stresses of everyday life, and it's sad to see that there is just as much drama (or more) going on in a silly game these days that I play for fucking ENJOYMENT, then there is in my actual life. It doesn't make sense. So ya, I'm pretty much on the same page. I'd forfeit everything I got to switch servers and actually enjoy the game at this point.

Does anyone know if there is any documentation in English on how to register for an account on their servers, what methods of pay are accepted, and possibly brief translation guides? I feel these are 3 things I'd likely need to be able to hop over there, so any feedback/help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As a returning player who wants the MAG extension for leveling purposes, this delay makes me one sad panda. Otherwise, this is no big surprise. I picked up PSU again far too late to care about MAG rewards. I just want my (alt) Acrotecher to be able to party with my regular crew before master classes arrive, and to have my (main) Fighgunner be able to solo Lightning Beast S so that I can become a sweet death caterer.

Too much catchup work to do to care about updates, but I can see how the diehards are upset.

It doesn't make sense. So ya, I'm pretty much on the same page. I'd forfeit everything I got to switch servers and actually enjoy the game at this point.

Does anyone know if there is any documentation in English on how to register for an account on their servers, what methods of pay are accepted, and possibly brief translation guides? I feel these are 3 things I'd likely need to be able to hop over there, so any feedback/help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm in the exact same situation. I have a lot of good weapons on the US/EU server, fairly high level PAs and Techs but I'm REALLY thinking hard about moving to the JP server and, as some of my friends who have already moved know, the only thing keeping from doing so is the language.

The game is the same but the maintenance done is a lot better than it is here and it makes the world a whole lot different.

This handling of the game from Sega US is a total shame. Where does our money go ? We're paying for maintenance, good handling, advertizing and such every month. Doesn't seem like the money goes into the right places.

Spamming isn't my thing at all. Must have done White Beast four times since it's been released, and got bored of MAG after three runs. :/ Plus the money I already spent in the game, restarting over on JP servers, it's like I'd have thrown all my money through windows (and before the flames come in, I think, though it isn't for all of them, that several months were worthing my money, as long as I was playing the game ; it's still cheaper than most of the online games nowadays).

As am I. Just weighing my options atm. I'm 100% waiting to resub until after they move/relocate the servers, as I suspect something far worse could happen during that period, and I do not want to pay for it.

If everything goes ok after the relocation, I may resub depending on what (if any at all) content gets planned for late July. I need a break anyway, so it's all good.

For those of you considering jumping ship, if you've played PSU any longer then 2-3 months you should know most of the menus by heart and navigate them that way.

That just leaves spending 30 mins learning katakana(or printing a chart or something) so you can use shop search.

I knew it. I knew ST would pull some bs like. I was hoping I was wrong, but I wasn't.

This only reinforces my feeling that they will probably not even bother giving the Mag extension at all. At this point, they should stop with all the empty promises and obvious lies and just give us the rewards.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they tell us they lost the US servers in their move or they were damaged beyond repair and just shut down the US PSU side.

My best friend is also quitting with me for a few months until we get our rewards for max attack G or Dengeki. The only way to get something across to sega is with your wallet. Though knowing them, they wont know why the cash flow has stopped and just kill the server all together..
