It would be great if you guys could suggest the best run to farm the Sonichi. I am running by myself as well, so I cant do the Floran Waterfall run, or I would.

Thanks,
Anubis

...wha? Sonichi is only from events :P

edit: oh lawd, you meant Jaggo Sonichi.

Several maps have Jaggos, here's a few

Awoken Serpent (http://psupedia.info/Awoken_Serpent#Enemy_spawn_chart)

White Beast (http://psupedia.info/White_Beast#Enemy_spawn_chart)

Caves of Ice (http://psupedia.info/Caves_of_Ice#Enemy_spawn_chart)

Desert Terror (http://psupedia.info/Desert_Terror#Enemy_spawn_chart)

All of these missions have Level 100+ Jaggos as well, if you're after Bearclaws.

I dread to say this but White Beast since its soloable while letting you get at all the jaggos

dunno I dont hunt rare monsters much but they seemed to pop up quit a bit when I last went there

Checking psupedia for a spawn chart is probably a good idea

Whihc one would you suggest, or do you prefer? I am looking for the statisically BEST run to find a Bearclaw [B] on. :-D

Yeah I am on Psupedia but I am trying to find the best mission for jaggo spawns, so I decided to ask everyone's opinion :D

white beast you can tell if you have a chance in the first block, then you can tell if you have a 5% chance in the second then once your in the third you usually know except in one map were the first spawn in block3 is the same in both rare and non rare.

5%.......No. If you get the right spawn in the first block, the 2nd block spawn will always be the correct one. And the chance is way higher than 5%

In my experience the best place was Duel in the Ruins but you need 1 friend.
Followed by Caves of Ice, then White Beast.

in my honest opinion i find caves of ice to be the easiest to solo all the monsters are one element ice and also the jaggos appear quite often.

the first day the jaggo sonichis were out i saw them 19 times for a total of 38 jaggos in a little over 3 hours

good luck jaggo hunting ........

i say white beast 4 jaggos spawn and if u get the down staires run its easy to tell u can rule out on first block where the other 2 u need the second block

My opinion is that of doing Awoken Serpent. I've been soloing that mission myself and it's worked well enough for me.

I've heard others mention Caves of Ice, but it seems to take me longer (or maybe I just don't like that map, so it seems to take longer) than Awoken Serpent. It is very easy to tell right away if you have a potential rare spawn map, however you do need to go to block 3 to confirm if you have rare spawn map.

It takes me ~12-15 minutes to get to block 3 spawn number 2 (where you can confirm for sure if you have jaggos coming).

Now I am convinced that I will find jaggos once in awoken serpent before I find jaggos 3 times in caves of ice (speaking in terms of jaggos/hour)

However this is all personal preference as I have no real data to back up my opinion.

Awoken Seprent = 6 jaggos; if you get them

The other part I like about Awoken is that if I solo the S mission they are level 100, so it's like the lowest possible level to get the (imho) highest quality drop from them (bearclaw board).

Well, that's just my two cents anyway... don't shoot me ^^;

First would be Dual Setinel mission takes what 12 minutes max with two people.

Awoken Serpant would be the next easiest, I have been doing both S and S2s there, S runs solo take me 19-24 minutes, S2s take me 23-33 minutes, it all depends on how much of a b*tch the de rol le wants to be. Also the drops are better at Awoken Serpent than on white beast. Muktengeks sell for alot, freeze resists are still expensive, zagza boards are also nice. I also like the chances of desta and adac boards. Not to mention the other area drops, I have found 8 goldania and 5 morbinia in 4 days of running this mission. Oh forgot to mention the potential for forest of illusions. I cant believe more people are not over here pounding this mission out. White beast sux compared to this mission.

Oh and I have found more jaggos here than I ever have on white beast. I have thus far killed 66 jaggo's here but have yet to find the bearclaws, I know have 11 puyo aura's and like 30 meow mustaches, I stopped picking up the jao statues because I usually am to full to carry all of the ones that drop. Did I mention Morbinia and Goldania drop here pretty frequently.

Man I just cannot see why people are so in love with white beast, Awoken Serpant S2 is faster, has better experience on s2, and has more money on s2. Plus like the other people mentioned you have a chance for 6 jaggos not 4 jaggos. Wake up people and start running awoken serpant.

Caves of Ice is actually a little bit quicker but I prefer the chance of good drops such as muktengeks and what not. If you are hardcore hunting bearclaws, Caves of ice or Duel Setinel is your best bet.
