Fortegunner and Guntecher don't cut it... I just made a gunner to start new with some of my friends. I made a CAST for it, but I've always only played hybrids and never tried Forteclasses, which means I'd do Guntecher... but they're much more support and less for damage. (Moreso than Wartecher, Acrofighter, Fighgunner, etc...) I think we just need more classes in general... The Fortes are played by SO many people...

dude guntechers rock, they have a lot of different types of guns. and they can use level 40 bullets... so there not only support they do good damage.

I was thinkin the same thing too a sniper class of some sort would be kinda nifty i was thinking.

What's wrong with Fortegunner? Think of it like this. Fortegunner is the gunner class with good melee, Fighgunner is the fighter class with SOME guns, and Guntecher is the gunner class with magic. I'd say it's pretty balanced out. >_>

Besides, I've seen WAY more hybrids than fortes out there.

I agree, but I thought about it, each class is already hybrid with a class, it would be unfair to get another gunner class unless its an acrogunner, but everyone says guntecher is like acrogunner so its not needed. So yeah.

Acrogunner is redundant, based off of how they currently do the type definitions. So far, all the acro classes are based off some quantity of ranger, mixed with something else.
i.e., Ranger+Force = Acrotecher, Ranger+Hunter=Acrofighter
Thus, Acrogunner would be Ranger+Ranger and, well, you get the idea...

Well, statistically there ARE more hybrid classes. I just don't generally play the Forte classes because I see many more of them (can you say male beast fortefighter?).

Well, the only one-handed gun that AT can't use is the xbow. If you want to exchange the melee aspect for two-handed guns, you can play a GT.

Honestly, if you want anything other than that, I don't think they've really incorporated any way to represent it...

really play the classs you want, or wait until gunmaster comes out, the switch to fortegunner, I'm sure there'll be a lot less of those around when the masters come out.

Acrofighter, and Figunner have plenty of guns! so does AT, then u got guntecher and fortegunner and then Protranser can get their guns higher than they can their melee PAs! lol

Thats funny i leveled them all up to 30 before 1up then 40 after AotI, then stopped and never used them ever again cuz i like shottys more now lol i dont even use mechguns XD

Depending on what you want out of your gun usage protranser is very good gun glass. If you're into grenades, shotguns, or lasers or even a longbow PT is great for it, not to mention that with the great gun selection you get traps. And don't let anyone say you can't mess up mobs with traps.

There is room for another gunner type that we don't currently have. Call it acrogunner or not, what it is is a damage-oriented light-gun user. Twins, mgun, xbow, cards, with some of the one-hand melee weapons, lv 40 bullets, lv 30 skills, and an ATP mod that's not as abysmal as GTs.

I'm happy with what we have now, as well... but I certainly wouldn't be opposed to more. Criss' idea about a more damage-oriented, tech-less light gun class sounds rockin.
Having said that, I love my GT. Sure, the damage isn't great, but I've never been overly concerned with damage in PSU. I can get the job done in a reasonable amount of time, so that's good enough for me. And GT is just do damn FUN. Love the weapon selection (Rifles and Bows and Dualies = win) and I like being able to mix up gunning with buffs and the occasional attack tech (and of course Resta). ^^

Semi-off topic but related. Anyone have any opinions on Mayalee Hit as a main handgun bullet? Thing is, with my GT, I do LIKE handguns (I think they look cool :-P), but I've been thinking of ditching 'em; between elemental bullets for multiple guns and techs, I'm a bit overloaded with PAs. So I was thinking Mayalee Hit instead of any elemental bullets for single handguns (so I could keep using em, but only have one PA for them instead of several). The stats make it look pretty decent, and the HP stealing aspect sounds nice (though it does seem to eat up a heck of a lot more PP than elem. bullets)... I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on using it in lieu of regular bullets.

No suggestion there really except maybe you should ditch the handgun and get a xbow with zazenga,but the decision is yours. I wouldn't mss a handgun seeing as how as a GT you also have a rifle and bow, and laser and dualies if you need to aim in first person. Thats my 10 cents.

Fighgunner with a speed boost, no double sabers, no twin claws, no twin fists, no swords, and no twin daggers with skill and bullets switched around?

a class that has a built in one-handed fist as a weapon, and the first part off bogga robado as a pa, then a handgun.

Hmm, not exactly a ringing endorsement for Mayalee. :D That IS kinda what I was thinking, that I might just not use em entirely. Dualies are pretty much better in every way (and are as cool looking as handguns, since, well... they ARE handguns) and between crossbows, Range and Tech Mags, and cards, GT certainly has more than enough left-handed options to pair with Wands or the occasional Saber. Leaning more toward just ditching em now... any really nice S rank handguns I come across can just go to my Figh instead. Of course, Figh has other left-handed range options as well, like GT, but isn't running out of PA slots like my GT is, so I figure I might as well, heh. :wacko: Thanks for the info.

We need an Acrogunner that gets a 1,000,000% boost in gun speed. However, it can only use Sabers, daggers, and wands. :wacko:
