the only getting killed by the flag.

I was part of a great and mighty army!
We fought for days without sleep, thousands had died.
We were all tired and weak but the war raged on!
It was just me and a few fellow comrades then.
We had reached the general.
His number was also few but still had double ours.
We charged at them, as they did too.
Before you know it, i was badly wounded by a big stick.
I lay there on the ground with a gaping bloody hole in my chest piercing my rib cage just barely missing the heart...
I lay there, suffering in pain wailing in agony
The war had ended, we had won!
My comrades, whatever was left of them celebrated and came to pick me up.
Oh the sheering pain of when they lifted me and placed me on that mat.
On the way to the medical tent, about 3 feet away, one of them tripped, dropped me and my heart collapsed in itself.
This was my story, of how a stick took my life, and how i died a long painful death because of it
