Hey kids, here's how you turn your taskbar on autohide. Don't back out just yet, the process is doable in three easy steps!

Disclaimer: The faint of screen resolution should be wary of these spoilers.

First, you need to RIGHT CLICK (http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e364/sgtshligger/step0.png) (mini-guide on right clicking) your current, in-view taskbar first.

Second step, big time deals! You'll click the check box where the arrow labeled '1' points and you should click the "Apply" button where the other arrow, labeled '2', points. Be careful, this is a critical point in the process.

Third and final step- enjoy! Your taskbar is now hidden when not in use! To reveal your taskbar, hover your mouse at the lowest part of your screen. The arrow gives an example area.

Hope this helped!

Hold CTRL and click. Yes, that's actually how you do it. Why they consider it a good idea to omit a second button on their laptops is still a mystery to me.

I get it, and it's something that still irks me about my laptop. It's just that it has been said so many times that it's a bit old.
