SonicTeam updated their PSP site today with pictures of the promotional telephone cards that are being given out by various retailers (sofmap, Imagine, Asobit, Media Land) to customers who reserve the game.

First we have Lou and Vivienne. Vivienne adjusts her rabbit ear headset thing.

There they are again.

Then just Vivienne. I think she has heartburn.

Karen is pissed that someone's walked in on her private moment with Vivienne. <_<

I really wonder what events happened and didn't happen now that we see Karen in regular Karen attire.

Wow, those look pretty neat. I'd love at least one for a collectors item.

They're in-store only promos handed out at the time of reservation. It doesn't look like they're offering them to online reservations.

Oh, and slight correction. The one with Vivienne adjusting her ear things is actually a bookmark, not a telephone card.

Yes. In the paraphrased words of the great Konata... You have to buy at least 3: 1 to display and take out/look at once in a while, 1 to store in mint condition, and 1 to store as a backup in case you lose 1.

Wait! Those aren't rabiit ears! She's a Wireless Router!!!

--- Crazy topic-inspired incredibly short story follows ---

Meanwhile, back on the Guardian's Colony.

Vivienne: Laia. I have a question that definitely needs a response.

Laia: *sigh* What is it?

Vivienne: I don't understand why all these people are following me around with portable computers?

Laia: Hmmm.

(Laia's eyes draw towards the top of Vivienne's head. Vivienne looking lost, Laia frowns a bit.)

Laia: (Pointing at Vivienne's antennae) Um. Do you have WEP or WPA security on those things?

Vivienne: Um....Do you mean Weapon's Employment Protocol? No, they aren't weapons; and I don't know of security on counter-measures that evidently are security.

Laia: Er...no....(*sigh* We got a newbie here). Are you connected to the net?

Vivienne: Why yes. I'm connected to a broad range of networks and......Um...excuse me, Laia. I'm experiencing a sudden steady large stream of data flow.

Laia: Why am I not surprised?

Vivienne: (turns to face a subject about 10 meters behind her. A glare forms on her face. She quickly rushes over to the subject and slaps the device from their hands.) Pervert!!!

I wonder if NCS(National Console Service) will be nice and stock some of those bookmarks for the pre-ordering crowd. They've been especially nice before by packing in simple promotional items, on occassion.

This = win. I had rofl at that. Vivienne is gonna have some internet stealing stalkers for a while unless she passwords those antennae lol.

Hmm. And something tells me Karen won't be on Maiden duty for long lol.

There's a telephone card in the online Sega Store preorder too, but it's not as cool as these.
