Now, I'm sure most of you saw my little fit in my other thread (here (http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146924)), where I was ranting and raving about my brother eating my bandwidth and my router not working properly.

After some calls and some experimentation of my own, I've come to find that my Xbox 360 appears to be the source of my problem, and my PC just desperately needs an upgrade (which deserves its own Rant topic). It would seem that my 360's Network card is dying. How that happens on an Elite that's half a year old, I don't know. I haven't verified this hypothesis yet, but I'll be calling later to sort it all out.

As many of my friends can attest, I've never really had a problem with my 360. I've said so several times in Microsoft's defense. Looks like it came back to bite me in the ass.

All in all, I'm pretty irritated. Not really at anything in particular, as this is my first actual 360 problem, but just irritated.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or feel sorry for you. Hope you get your problem sorted out soon.

Not RROD. MS won't cover it.

One year warranty.

You and me both- I'm waiting on my 360 box coffin to arrive. Several E71-E79 errors, failed disc reading, corrupted Hard Drive data, I've had instances of all of those so far. My 360's only 3 months old (although it's a 20GB Premium, not an Elite). Of course, Rock Band decides to get a Nine Inch Nails pack when I send it away. Worst timing ever

Edit: And yeah, MS cover all technical faults for one year, and I believe cover RROD for 3 since it's an acknowledged problem.

If you're using cable internet, get a booster. They cost about $30-$45 and they will boost the signal through your cable line; i.e. internet and TV.

I had a problem with it when I moved rooms, the tv OR the internet could work alone, but if I tried to use both(hooked both up at the same time), the internet would cut out and the channels on TV were fuzzy.

Perhaps this is all your issue is, look into it. =]

I'm not sure if that's it, because I haven't done anything differently from before the problem started happening, but you never know. My brother's out of the house all day tomorrow so I can test to see if he lags as well (bring my HDD and some games upstairs).

What's weird is that CoD4 doesn't lag. About the only game that doesn't though.
