Well, for starters, you can remove his name, number, and Gamertag from your post. Those are things you report to Sega on their site, not here. Against the forum rules.

Can't you alert another mod who has powers in rants?
Also, sucks you got scammed bro. It is a shame there are assholes that play the game that way.

Hi Chuppa, seems you've been introduced to the internet. =]
Not the best thing to happen to anyone, but thats why you just don't put trust in people when it comes to online games. Or even in public.
"Damn, I handed the guy $25 and he was gonna gimme the radio, but then he kicked me in the nuts and ran off!"

Probably not, sadly.
When you finalize the trade, you can see the entire thing before you hit "Yes". There's no way they can completely steal it from you.

You can report the scammer to Sega at http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/support_contact.php
Can they do something about it? If they knew what they were doing, your claims would be easily backed up by activity logs.
Do they keep sufficient logs? Don't know.
Would they act either way? Don't know.
Best thing to do is to avoid the trade window at all costs, unless you are with very trustworthy friends. It does not show enough information about the items being traded.
For future reference, the trade system works as follows:
Both parties pick items to trade, and then confirm.
This is where scammers hit you. They'll put up their end of the bargain, and once you confirm, take their end back out and confirm, hoping you won't notice.
Once BOTH parties confirm, items are locked and parties enter finalization.
Last chance to check for fraud!
If one person refuses to finalize, the whole trade is canceled. Otherwise, items are traded.

I got scammed back in the day. It was the drop weapon get booted out thingy. It was my sharp twins 26%light, i know its a noob weapon but back in these days, meseta drops were really low and weapons were expensive. I was ready to quit but i didnt, thankfully.

Sorry OP, but I don't have much sympathy for you. Should have checked the window.
Also, nice name.

That sucks, but you should be more careful. There are lots of people that just want to take advantage of people to get stuff, especially on the 360 servers it seems, and you should always pay attention when trading with someone you don't know and trust.

I never trade with anyone. Its just never smart because you never know when someone can be super sneaky.
