No he wouldn't. Apple's Macintosh product line is necessary for Microsoft, so they can avoid being split up as a monopoly. Bill Gates isn't stupid.


We can be certain that his economic policies would be good, but I dunno if the same holds true for his foreign & domestic policies, not relating to economics. At the same time, it is necessary to observe that if economics is Bill Gates' greatest strength, then President is not the ideal political office for him, as the President's role has very, very little impact on the American economy.
