XLink Kai Users!

Wanted to get a heads up on who here plays on Xlink Kai, or plans on it. I just got my Wifi MAX today so I'm all set to go. My XTag is DarkShadowX for those who want to play or whatever.

Ive had a wifi max for ages but never bothered with Xlinkkai. How do you set it up for PSP and whatnot?

From what I know, yeah, basically. Also from what I know, I can only host. Which sucks.

Why can't you join games with a Planex adapter?

You have to change your SSID to match the host's SSID. Basically, there is no way for Planex users to do this. Zydas tools doesn't work for the adapters, and I have yet to find a way to change the SSID within the Planex firmware.

I believe my Xlink Kai tag is identified as either Foiden or Findel. I'll get back on this since my copy of the game doesn't arrive at least until tommorrow. My copy already shipped, it seems, and if other shipments from NCS are any indication, I should probably see my copy arrive Friday afternoon.

I have the Datel Wi-Fi adaptor, and I've already fully tested the Demo across Xlink-Kai so I should be good. My nice and portable laptop is being used for my Xlink, so I have an easy way to be anywhere at home, and connect in.

We should also have some information as to what kind of PC chat software we might want to use. During gameplay, it would be a lot better than having to type into Kai or to have to watch a separate computer screen while we do a mission.

Why can't you join games with a Planex adapter?
As mentioned, you can't join games...only host them which sucks. But at least you can still play online :/

Datel Wifi Max. You can find it on loads of sites and/or in shops.

If you use a router it could take alot more work.
