Sange is 9*. On the PSU JP servers, the Tiga De Ragan hasn't been released, so at the moment Sange & Yasha is the best twin saber in the game.

you have to remember more or less everyone that plays psu just now has most likely or will most likely do a run at some point. that means everyone will get a sange.
there will be far too many going about for the price to be that high

Just so you know, the x10 Casino coin event is the reward IF you can clear all of the goals. I don't know how the end goal will be adjusted for the US servers, but its going to be 11 points per run max.

Factors to consider: 11 stages in survival, 1 point per stage per party, and you only begin with 6 stages until the rest get unlocked. It costs a total of 240 tickets to enter (24 zonspheres) between your entire party equally (240 solo, 60 in a max party of 4, etc.), and I'm pretty sure most players will attempt to strike a balance between using spheres for tickets, and using spheres for trade-in prizes.

Last thing to consider: do you have faith in yourself and your party to not get hit/take damage? (If so, the US servers will get the bonus casino event no problem. If not, start investing in evade or kiss it goodbye; no amount of light % armor will save you from Degana's missile attack.)

I'll be getting 5; some friends don't want them and my neighbor's XBL is down and said I could snag his off his account since he can't get on and he doesn't want it anyway. I most likely will NOT bother grinding any of them. The likeliest scenario would be that I store one to use later to make S&Y and sell the other four.

From seeing the S&Y previously in the Arms Dealer I already have x10 De Ragnus Dorso, Kyumeisei-shiki, x2 Lithnia. All I am missing is the Solid / Knight and Chevalier Edge which I will get a soon as it becomes available since it is already set in stone that I WILL have 1 gold possibly more by then.

My only problem would be getting Yasha during the Mission Carnival; knowing my luck I have a high possibility that I won't even see one drop.. which in turn will force me to buy it at an incredibly overpriced rate...

consider JP also got dengeki extension... well.. they might just give extension on puzzle purpose.
However, I could just careless on that, I prefer update more than event extension.

Degahna? His missile attack (hell, Magas as well) is easy to dodge.. Not to mention Adahna is dead in seconds anyway (unless it's been given massively increased HP?) Survival will certainly be interesting though. I'm more worried about regular enemies (lol @ playing in Europe and having Trimates 'activate' after I'm already dead)

As for the extra items needed for Sange & Yasha- I'll be hunting Yasha a lot when/if we get Lightning Carnival, and I already have everything else needed, except the Chevalier Edge, which I have about 65 Silver for so far. I refuse to gamble a lot (spend 30/100 on slots a day, save 70/100). That way I always earn a bit, and sometimes I'll get lucky and get fever(s) on the machines and earn more- like yesterday when I got Red Rappy Fever straight after the first fever had finished :lol:

Edit: lol @ people thinking Sange will go for 99mil. Have you all forgotten Song for Death (now less than 500k on PC/PS2 generally)? You might be able to fool a few idiots, but with so many Sange on servers, and a lot of people who a) don't know about The Arms Dealer mission and b) don't care for Sange & Yasha, the price should stabilise. I mean, when it all comes down to it, it's a 9* Neutral Saber with 100PP. Most people will see it as junk.

All monsters and opposition have their HP nerfed to an extreme level (like 25% of normal). In return, they're pretty much given 20x the attack power. Meaning if you take more than 2 hits (assuming you actually survive the first in later levels) you're pretty much dead; scape dolls have no effect here.

During the event over on the Japanese servers, bosses were notorious for oneshotting all players, especial De Rolei, and his rocks of doom. This can be mainly attributed to the fact that unlike their normal freemission counterparts, bosses in survival have a higher level (150 as opposed to 100 for Degana, 135 for de rolei) and as a result, more attack power and much more effective attacks. In Degana's case, because it's at 150 and not 100 like most players are used to, the missiles are faster and are that much more accurate.

Don't get me wrong, if you can find an opening, these bosses go down in 10 seconds from when your attack starts, and assuming you have more than one player left standing; but that opening is not very often and your job is pretty much to survive until you get that opening. Although in some cases, one person would just nobly sacrifice themselves to let the others polish Degana off (no such luck for De Rolei, since its attacks go after everyone anyway).

It drains HP, so it'd be good to use with Spinning Strike. Low PP = doing combos often for PP regain, which I do anyways, so this weapon is a great addition to my arsenal. It'd only see much use on a fighter class if the enemy is fire type though, since Neiclaw's HP regain is twice as good as Sange's.

In the end, I'd make Sange & Yasha, since it was one of my favorite weapons in PSO, next to about half of the double sabers.

Sange is the best A ranked saber that I know of, minus the DB saber with the DB line; a combo which I use.

I'm going to buy someone else's and grind that one. I'll use it as a backup Sange, or save it to make a Sange & Yasha in the VERY far distance (ie. When one of my alts can actually use it and will be a class that can use it. With my Alt classes being Future FM, AT and GT; I don't think that a S ranked Twin Saber is in my best intrest. But a good A ranked rare... That I can live with. :D
