a bit of specific information would be helpful, what does it say exactly when you attempt to connect to the server? its hard to help you if all you say is it isn't working ):

Plus you make an account through your 360, not on a website...
Maybe that's your problem.

The message is:
Your access to the Phantasy Star Universe Servers is currently Disabled.
Please see the user's manual for contact information for further information.

have you purchased a guardian license before this? but more to the point have you been online before or is this a first time startup?

that message means you're permanently banned. You probably did something against the rules, tell us what you did

since its not an error and your guardian's license is valid it seems that the only reasonable explanation is that sega terminated your connection.

Well, we can't really help you, if you're banned, your banned.

I sympathize with the OP. I too have had this problem. During the first MAG event I got this message halfway through the event. Two weeks later I could log on regularly. Then.. when this current MAG started I got the same message. I am a decent player. I dont go out of my way to piss people off. I dont stand around the GM in Raffon Field base going "FUCKER". I cured this issue by playing from a different XBOX. This message didnt mean permanent ban for me as it wore off at some point and I was able to get regular access from my original xbox after a certain period of time. My sympathies to you. I have not got a response from SEGA on this issue nor is their support center website working for me. Any attempts to ask people on PSOWORLD for advice is usually met with "OMG you're a sinner! You're banned! Not innocent! EF you! We're really mature!" or likewise from the Official forums. My advice; borrow someone else's xbox who doesnt play PSU and use their box. Like I said, I havent gotten a response.. so just deal with it. You have my sympathies.

Do like pika and lick their ass, you will be forgiven.
Or make a new gamertag, get a guardians license for this gamertag and begin from zero

I'm curious... does Microsoft do temporary bans for abusive behavior reports (via Live) on PSU? That could very well explain what's going on here if they do.
Microsoft don't own the servers so they can't ban you from them, if it was a Microsoft issue then I assume he wouldn't even be able to log in to his gamertag or any online game

Except you have to go through Microsoft's LIVE service in order to get to PSU's server. I do believe Microsoft does temporary bans for behavioral problems, but I don't know if it's by game (as I suspect) or for all of Live. I'm looking for a response from someone with LIVE experience, I only had live on original Xbox (do not have 360)

The logins are handled by a Sega-owned server authenticating via LIVE. The game servers are 100% Sega's. All this is evidenced by both server sets going down when Sega moved their offices.
_Duke_ if you don't have a 360 and you don't have live, why speculate on how it works?
I've never heard of a per-game temporary ban, if MS ban you, you have no access to their system as a whole. Brainwrecked covered the server issue.

I think you missed the part where I mentioned I had LIVE for the original Xbox, I don't think their in-game reporting has changed any.

They do do temporary bans, as well as permanent ones of course. Since I was never admonished for anything I have no clue if the temporary bans can be for a specific game or not. They talk about doing suspensions on your whole account if your Gamertag is an offensive name, I wonder if they would do PSU-specific suspensions if you have an offensive PSU character name. All I'm asking for is any clarification on these details from someone who knows, not a bunch of "????" and "derrrrs".
I don't see anyone else trying to help, so unless you have something useful to say [shove off].
