char transfer?

I've seen this same question asked, but am wondering if it's changed on the retail version...I know you couldn't transfer your 360 characters over to the demo...but can you transfer them over to the retail japanese one? I can easily get my hands on the download, but want to know if I can transfer them b/w systems... I'm assuming no, although I'm not too sure why >.>

*edit* nm...just reconfirmed I can't....wish they'd change it...not too sure why we can't...360 plays this game too T.T
