That's what it means, literally. Make sure that port 30000 is open.

I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am wondering if someone might know if I did everything right... I followed EVERY instruction, including the forwarding ports. On XLink Kai, it does say "reachable: Yes" and "Found Consoles: PSP", so it appears that everything should be running just fine... but in XLink Kai, on the side with the "Select a player to view his profile" area, everyone has little bars under their name. I would assume that it is signal strength or something, but my name doesn't have the little bar. I've tried connecting to join a game in multiple areas, but I can't seem to find one. Any advice??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if you are on XLink now, I am in the PSP English section. Chatting would work, too.

The guide that Zarode posted is best, used that to get kai working on my new computer. (Vista)

Seems like it may be working... despite the lack of that little bar. I saw your and Suvi's game in the lobby. Would you mind if I tried to join you next run?

*edit* Connected, then after the game started, booted and Kai went to Requerying Orbital Mesh. So close, yet so far. Sorry for the sudden departure, Suvi (if you are reading this).

I quit trying to get online with this!!! I have been trying to get it set up for 6+ hours now, and it was working just fine for a few minutes. Now every time I try to get on, it crashes Kai by saying "Detaching from engine" and then when I refresh it, I get the Requerying Orbital Mesh error! Grrrrrr! What a waste of a fine afternoon trying to mess with this! Looks like offline all the way for me.
