couldn't be helped, i got it from christmas gift exchange (my friends set it up, and don't ask why in the middle of summer), i'm also broke now from buying gifts from said exchange so i can't by a monochrome tv

edit: i don't have cable so i rarely get to see the events that i want to see and with commercial breaks every 5 minutes it gets on my nerves like nothing else

Yeah. There are four years between each Summer Olympiad and four years between each Winter Olympiad. It works out to having a Summer Olympiad, and then having a Winter Olympiad two years later. It keeps going like that.

I do think that the summer Olympics are more fun to watch. However, I really like to watch the luge and bobsled events. It's so awesome to watch people going down what is basically a huge, icy slide.
