Need some Guntecher advice -- mechguns and KS vs Megid

I'm a Beast Guntecher and lately I've been looking into Mechguns. Are they any good? I can pick up Bulletdance for 5 mil right now on PS2/PC. Also, which is better for robots, Megid or KS? I have a Rikauteri and really like bows, so my Phantom has been in the bank for a while... I've ALREADY read Fanboy's guide for GTs but I wanted a little more discussion than reading just the guide.

Mechguns aren't bad, but Crossbows are generally "more useful", and Cards are better against bosses. If you like them, and are willing to use the Charges necessary to feed them, they aren't bad.

As for KS vs Megid...KS is better in wide open areas, while Megid's better in spots where you can clump the bots up. Though Radiga is almost as good at killing (Lightning) groups, while being much cheaper.

I'd suggest pulling the Phantom out of storage and leveling an elemental bullet to 31 anyway, as rifle knockdown is amazing.

I find crossbows more useful on a GT

I vote for KS. megids just well when there fully clumped up

Bows VS rifles well I'll just say the basis don't want a large discussion -.-

Bows are slower/Less range( I think they look the same <.< unless it's Choutou) - Ignore DFP and VERY easy to level up

Rifles are faster/more range - Have knock down at 31, Thx to the PA update
Rifles can lvled to 31 in a few hours

Every PP charge is usually 5% or so

Compared to before, that phrase is plausible. It only takes roughly 10 hours (give or take 2-3 hours) if you know where to do it.

Don't bother too much with mechguns... unless you're on Xbox ;o

GTs win with xbows and that's where they deal damage.

Since you're a Beast, I think twin handguns are the most effective for you if incase you find yourself outputting a lot of zer0s ;(.

A-rank but why shotguns when you can use S rank xbows? If he's going to use shotgns, just be a fortegunner. Use rifles too then since the knockdown is win.

Agreed, maybe the accomplishment feeling makes it feel faster. X)
Really, any boss is owned hard on that level on teh rifle.
