I've decided to get this one, however choosing a colour WILL be the hard part. =[

I don't think I'll get the HP one, but I think this is good. +It has a built in microphone for Skype. ;]

I think it got better reviews than the Dell. Maybe I should get this one.
I'm too indecisive. :disapprove:

I'm a really indecisive cat, too. :disapprove:

I need to be able to say "Yes" or "No" more easily.

I find the artwork on the HP to be offensive.

Hey, let's throw a Ying-Yang in there! AWESOME.

As far as which one to get, HP makes some buggy products, but I think the ee-ternets say worse things about DELL.

Also: "I can't decide whether you should live or die!

You'll probably go to heaven, please don't hang your head and cry!"

If you are able to work on computers yourself, the Dell might be safer. Inside laptops isn't too bad (not sure about the screen portion though), but every time I work on a HP or Compaq, I usually end up hurt somehow (bleeding on at least one occasion). Just make sure to get an extended general warranty (accident is up to you) so if something does go wrong, at least the parts are free.

How the hell did you end up bleeding? =0

the best computers are the ones you build from scratch... unfortunately they are also the most exspensive

the best computers are the ones you build from scratch... unfortunately they are also the most exspensiveBuilding desktops from scratch is probably the best for the money. Laptops, good luck. For desktops it really isn't too bad if you want a mid range system and already have the mouse, keyboard, printer, and monitor to get a price comparable to a cheaper say, Dell.

Now that Solstis has chimed in, I feel safe in saying that the HP "artist's edition" is a gross transgression against the laws of decency (read: butt fugly).

On a solely aesthetic basis, I'd go with the orange Dell.
Note: cannot be compared with Macsapples.

It's a vampire computer. Be sure to stake it when you finally decide to get rid of it.

Of course, burning it at the steak is another viable (though environmentally unfriendly) option.

Never fear, for I have already purchased the requisite amount of carbon credits to burn thousands of heretics, werevolves, vampirs, and other social deviants.

I know just about as much as you do, Sord. As nice as an Alienware computer would be, I don't think I would ever actually buy one.

I don't wanna build a computer. I'd fuck it up. I would rather get one already made.

What's a good one. &Under $900.

I haven't heard anything about Alienware, except they look nice.
