Can anyone else not view "information" when they first log o

Well about half the time it's not even there, only ship select is.
But about 80% of the time when I do get to click information, it doesnt do anything. It just keeps on showing the lobby and I eventually have to pull out the cord to quit.

Anybody else having this problem? I was just wondering if something was wrong on my end.

I'm thinking there's something definitely buggy about the servers these days. Guild Card searches no longer function, people get FSOD standing in the lobby doing NOTHING (I did! Hadn't touched the controller for about a minute, and the lobby I was in was completely empty) and the double save, which should by all rights be any sort of problem for PSO is causing character corruption.

I think Sonic Team needs to do a bug check on the servers. They've definitely been acting strange lately.

I can't get to it either...

However, I could usually get to it later at night when less people were on, toward the beginning. No matter when I tried, it usually would not work if there were too many people on. (I would have to do the AXBY+start thing to soft-reset or whatever) You might want to try when few people are at the USA ships. However, it has not been showing up at all lately, and I want to check and see if I got over 10,000 monsters yet.

When you think about it, this 'information' option is a very useful thing. The concept is great, especially with a quest such as Fcup, it is too bad they didn't implement it right.

Yeah, it hardly works for me. Every now and again I'll get it to work, but most of the time either the option isn't there, or it just hangs there until I disconnect. Seems kind of silly for Sega not to have something like that work more consistently. If we're paying to play, then it should work.

The thing that bugs me most is the fact that I can't search for friends online. What good is that function if we can't use it? I'm surprised it's still messed up, honestly. You would think that someone at Sega would have realized there's a problem and fixed it already.

When it hangs for me, I just do a software reset... It's easier than getting up and pulling the cord. ^_^ (software reset = X+B+A+start [might need the la nd r buttons too, brain foggy])

Resetting is Start B+X for the Gamecube.

It almost always hangs for me, on broadband, but I'm pretty sure it's just lagging. It always comes up for me, just might take a minute or so of sitting there with the lobby in the background. How long are you waiting before you give up?

I had the same problem as you Souljah. Only tried going to it once though. Didn't want to keep trying if I was going to have to dissconnect myself by taking out the phone line everytime.

Well most of the time I give it 30 seconds or so. I'm on cable after all, it shouldn't even take that long.

But I did let it sit around 5 minutes once, and still nada.

Sega really needs to get their act together. 9$ a month is absurd for any non-mmorpg. And for our 9$, we don't even get things working properly.
Sega is even charging the same fee for the XBOX version. They're nuts...

Yes, about 40% of the time I can't see Info, and about 40% of the time I see it, and the last 20% goes to seeing it, clicking it, and I get disconnected.

edit: Well for the US version I mean. I've heard the JP one is about $5 a month, though not 100% certain.
