Actually, it does look like it's from Ragnarok. I think you're correct.

You can tell from my character's awesomeness. Though I want a picture of him using Asura Strike. Even if your at a low level that attack does a insane amount of damage(12K) but your left with no SP and you can't regain it for five minutes. It looks pretty cool when charging up.

...its complicated. Photoshop is raster, the image is stored as pixels. Illustrator is vector, it stores the data as lines, shapes, and attributes.

Yeah, still layers and all. The shapes can be whatever, really. You basically set outlines, fill, etc. to work in Illustrator.
