XBox: About S-Ranks

Apperantly, s-rank weapons no longer have a special attack at all. There are also some s rank weapon's missing from the selectable list. Here's the list according to Ah King who got his s rank for the short while c1-c9 was available on the xbox.

SABER
SWORD
BLADE
PARTISAN
SLICER
GUN
RIFLE
MECHGUN
SHOT
CANE
ROD
WAND
TWIN
CLAW

(notice, no needle)

I just assume it will be the same way for the gamecube version.

Oh, and one more thing, the partisan that Ah King chose had pathetic stats, i.e. +10 atp, + 40 ata.

Maybe another version of challange mode with *good* weapons will be released at some point?

Actually the weapon has been ground 14 times which means that the base stat for it would only be 10 ATP...

Something is just wrong with that..

Forgot to tell u guys. The s-rank weapons have no Special attack. If you bring it online and create a team, ST will say you have banned item. So, if u got it, put it in bank.

What is this? So S-Ranks suck now? I have no reason to do C mode then.

If S-Rank Mechguns can still be ground to +99, I'd wager they're still useful.

I have a feeling, though, that S-Ranks are more going to be a novelty personalized thing now.

Well, I don't find it hella fun. (please don't take that the wrong way) I like it and all, but I want to level Davion more and collect items.

I can only imagine these S-ranks are phoney (Not in the sense its "hacked", but because you aren't supposed to have them but do have them because of ST/MS's stupidity). I can only assume the correct S-ranks will be introduced when challenge mode is actually opened.
