Or they're busy.

Nitro, you're contradicting your statement... you did after all post.

When I posted that, I meant everyone else besides us.

You should be more specific. And this isn't A Midsummer's Night Dream, so I'm at no risk of being one.

Aww. For a second there, I thought you were going to have a picture of what an FKL anime would look like. :disapprove:

I was hoping for that myself.

According to all of the bitchy people that used to whine about FKL not being what it was, you could probably look up any generic anime and find ALL of us in it.

I dunno what I'd be though.

TalHex

ronin already covered that with genshiken

the 4th Hellsing OVA was released awhile back if you want to go find that.

as per FKL being an anime, we're already to damn close as it is

TalHex
Aug 18, 2008, 08:20 PM
either that or an rpg... we have enough threads after all that are close enough to side quests or mini games

Tact
Aug 18, 2008, 08:28 PM
If all of these threads are sidequests, what's the main plotline?

Is it about the never-ending quest to be the biggest forum in PSOW?

we don't have one, we're like south park, simpsons, etc

Oh, so FKL is one of those shows where there is no real plot and different things happen in each episode.

That makes sense.

TalHex
Aug 18, 2008, 08:43 PM
or its one of those shows where there is a plot but every episode is one step forward two steps back

well, the first couple episodes were boring as fuck, lot of breathing with no talking and plenty of attempts at being disturbing, which you can't really do to me just using a monitor and sound.

Luckily for me not five minutes after the end of the second episode my movie Gotham Knights "arrived." And that was good. Great animation quality, and, well, BATMAN. What more can you say?

Forget Anime. There are a lot of great shows out there that aren't animated. I mean, I don't know what your viewing habits are but I see too much Anime and not enough live-action stuff around here.

However, if I were to suggest a Live-Action show that was paced like an Anime (and kind of like FKL, for that matter) I would suggest Spaced (http://www.bbcamerica.com/content/88/index.jsp).It has some British references because it is a BBC show but it is hilarious. I watched this once a few years ago and I just found out today that there is a US Box set release. I went right out and picked up a copy.

Go read Vinland Saga. Do it RIGHT NOW. GO. IT IS THE BEST COMIC EVER.

If proof is required I'll dig some up.

BOOKS are for NERDS. Vinland Saga is for HEROIC VIKING WARRIOR CHAMPIONS. Which would YOU rather be?
