i feel overwelmed. XD I were thinking yesterday, meh i might go hunt for a Chainsawd thinking that i will have something RARE to hunt for plus i absolutely loved that weapon in PSO, but i didnīt wanna spoil myself by getting Casino version....so i did hunt it and.. under one hour...boom rare mission and boom..Chainsawd in hand with ground element...I were like yay and thinking it would be pretty rare and all..then i looked at shop prices and facepalmed.

Saw about 3 in different element for 500 000 and one in ICE for 1 mill, but i love the blue colour so i like wth.. D:.. i off course snagged it all :D
But i feel spoiled now lol...

Anyone else that feels that same? :D

Oh, you'll get used to that I bet.
It's just that ST didn't fuck up this time sooo PSU is pretty much enjoyable with drops and stuff right now. (which it should be always anyways)
As long as ST doesn't kick us in the face this "spoiling" remains.

Wait til a few weeks are over. Red / Knight will be worth about 40-50mil. I lol at everyone who thinks it's rare, cause it's not. Or am I lucky to see 5 in 48 hours, in about 9 rare missions? All the drops (minus Hizeri / Mind and Yiel-senba) were too easy to find i think.

Now just wait until you're spamming White Beasts with a 300% drop boost.

Unless you were around before AoI, you have NO idea what it means to actually hunt for a rare.

Oakrod can already be considered 'junk'.

I've seen 2 drop (got 1) in 3 runs of GBR. The board is selling for 7 million which is nothing considering this is a 12* weapon.

Not that I really care if a board drops often, but why is this rod even 12*? I've been doing over 150 runs of SW and had 1 PW drop. Somehow it doesn't make sense to me that the * are worth nothing regarding actual rarity.

I don't mind it at all. I think we'll be in for a struggle later on when higher level enemies arrive, and more challenges are presented to us. Give it time.

I sure hope so. I hear that Kaos Knight is a very hard hunt, so I'm looking forward to that. My Red / Knight is good enough til that day though.

Red / Knight sells for 400m on Jp server so i doubt anyone will find it. MAYBE one person. on 360...

Please tell me how me and 4 friends have found 5 Red / Knight within 48 hours. I HIGHLY doubt it's worth 400mil.

t(*_*)t My best rare in ALL my time in PSU is either my Double Agito (low % might I add) or that Cati/skill save I got not to long before my comp crapped out on me. You Jackanapes have no clue how hard rare hunting is on two hours a day and crap for personal luck.

I love the changes since AoI was released because back then obtaining rares was nearly impossible. The only rares I could get were mats so I was left with buying boards to update my equipment, this loophole was endless and I was stuck repeating the same process most of the time I started playing. The adjustments have fixed alot of the problems from the original regardless of hearing countless complaints that the game has beome to easy. I prefer it the way it is now. Yesterday while I was running Sacred Steam with my friends two Shinowa lines dropped, I was surprised they went to me.

It's needed. PSU has been funner than it has in a long time for me.

More common rares helps to make the game adhere to its casual game play. The more hard core players still have the challenges of getting higher percents and max grinds.

Actually i have been around before expansion (Februari 2007), i just feel spoiled at the moment (its like playing some other event or something) and wanted to express some words. XO
Stuff hardly get worth anything at this rate with the constant increasing drop rates (not like i mind it myself), and this mission updates were needed IMO.

This.

People may not appreciate "LOLSEGAC", but this game is the best mix of a game for casual + hardcore gamers, giving them both goals, that it amuses me.

It's still hard for the hardcore players to get the best PERFORMANCE, but the casual gamers can still hunt with their friends for fun and get pretty things and cool looking stuff xD.

This game has something for everyone if you ask me.

i think it's good that you can find most items now in a reasonable amount of time

if you think that's a bad thing, you should see what it was like trying to find a damn 11* weapon before the expansion

Let me explain the heart of the problem:

Content.

I don't mean to incite the 'PSU vs. PSO' camp by bringing this up, but its something that was done with extraordinary precision in PSO, but ST can't hit a barn door with a beech ball in PSU. There was such a menagerie of rares in PSO that you could find a red box every day and actually wonder what it was, instead of the usual "that's a [insert lame 10*]" before you even pick it up in PSU. Yes, the Varistsa plague existed in PSO (probably most equitable to a Crimson board), but there was so much beyond that minor level of inconvenience that rare hunting was still worth the effort.

In PSU, the gradient of rares is so flat there is no sense of accomplishment for anything outside of seasonal weapons (ST shits on gunners again). One day (I hope), we will have a majority of the content. If ST plays their cards right, the hardcore players will have 15* items to hunt, while the the moderate players have 12-13*, and 10-11* weapons will be claimed by the newer players.

and why should gunners get a majority of the content?

a 15* should be available to anyone whos looking for it. the people who looks more should get it more, the people who have small amounts of should only be limited in chance by their time to play.

as long as 13*-15* weapon are made hard to get, then I don't care. Pushan being an exception, since it's an event item. Everyone having the same thing fails, esp. scrubby 1-2 monthers are finding the best stuff and using them like they're something special.

I like when "some" weapons stay unique, just feels better using it. Most gunner weapons still have some uniqueness to them. Honestly I don't see many people using a needle cannon/asted/Blackbull/Rattle.

What I meant was that the best of the two main fG power weapons (Shotguns and Laser Cannons) are only available for a limited time, while techers and fighters enjoy 12* hunting year round.

I'm not sure if it's just me or not but I still can't get any decent rares! I've never picked up something rare outside of an event mission... =(
"Wow! A Durandal Replica! Oh gee, another! This is my lucky day! And another! Oh... another..." =( Got about 30+ DR in my storage, it's full now. XD Then again, to be honest I never actualy go out to try and find one... =,(

im sure it is not worth 400 mil but im sure thats what it sells for lol

it jsut sounds like u have insane luck >.>

i've seens the rare mission 5 times my friend 8 times, in all of our times together only i have seen it drop and only once.

i know plenty of people who have seen the mission many times some more than 8 and all have yet to see one drop but me :/

I think, people know they can get more tahn max, sop no one will ever put it in shops lol and since no one puts it in shops in the first place, people will know they can get more.

even if it does end up being a lot less than 400 mil i doubt they'll ever be in shops :(

Sorry, but nah, it were in shop before during GBR, however, they were sold out quick, because many people looking for it. which mean it does worth more than 100 mil at that time.
400 mil is crazy overprice. I doubt anybody would go for that lol.
I say it worth 150-200 mil at maximum. ( at least, 150 mil was the price that Riniaru asked midori to hunt 1 and sell him)

Moreoever, all statement above was @ the time when they having GBR which Red/knight is the best unit for every race.
(cati/power give 120 atp, can't compare to red/knight at all case)

Now, you know, on parum GBR, there is Luminus/Kaos which is much easier to get and (+360 atp, - 100 ata) totally better for CAST.
After that, darkness event, also have another 12* unit, which give you about 280 Atp with no reduce any ata at all. Best can also use this too. depend on what they prefer.
so the Red/knight become best only for beast(if you are ata favor type) and those who want to show-off.
With that, I don't think price o red/knight will ever increase. It is better to spend meseta on high % weapon which help much more ATP to you.
(not to mention that more to the future, they will have vijeri/crono, which will kick all of above units off the chart)

That is so true.

I forget how many Onmagoug runs I did for my Har / Quick... It was three digits, easily, 100+ runs.
