Thanks Festa 2/Protectors disc locations (Pics inside)

Ok boys and girls I went through the thanks festa mission a few nights ago and found all 24 "keys" and figured I'd share the information with anyone who wanted to know. Ok so there are 2 "keys" per block just to get out of the way first. You will need a gun/bow of some sorts to hit some of the things to get the "keys" and a pair of googles. Ok let's get started.

First opening block

Shot the glowing yellow trap and a key should appear at the bottom on the floor

The door behind the warp is a fake door. So just walk through it to get the second key[/spoiler-box]

Block Aa

The first key should appear at the top left of the map pretty much right off the bat

Once all the enemies are killed a barrell will appear in the middle of the map and just break it and a key will appear[/spoiler-box]

Block Ab

Ok now after the first warp that sends you back there's going to be a kind of L shaped corner, the wall to the right is fake. So just walk on through and get the first key

After killing all the enemies before warping to block Ac a key should pop up in the bottom left corner[/spoiler-box]

Ok, there are small mushroom lights all over this block they should highlight when you walk by them. press them and at the end of the map you'll get a key before heading onto the next area

While going through this block you come to a "y" in the trail, take the left trail and you should find a key[/spoiler-box]

Block Ba

The area after you come into contact with Ashe (the one with the Bommas) There should be a key to the left

After defeating the enemies behind the hidden wall, you will actually find the second key INSIDE the hidden wall[/spoiler-box]

Block Bb

After defeating all the enemies in this block a key should appear

The second key is a little tricker then the other blocks, put you goggles on and look to the left of the dorr you came in at[/spoiler-box]

After warping into the Rappy gugg room Look back towards the warp and there should be a key right behind it

Now before going into the next area look to the left of the door and shoot the nuts out of the tree next to the door[/spoiler-box]

The first key is behind the locked door after the first warp. If you're alone the buttons WILL stay green after you run across them

The first key in hidden in the tree in the middle of the area that had the first set of bommas

The door behind the recharge cube is a fake door. The first key is right behind it

The second key is behind the locked hidden door after you defeat the last mob of enemies. Once again the switches will stay lit green after one person steps on it[/spoiler-box]

White Beast Block

The first key is in the second area with enemies in it (where the path is basically a " T " and there's the 2 ice traps) the door towards the left is another fake door with a key behind it

The second key is where the very large ice trap is. You can hit the switch a little further ahead of it and it should stay green so you can just run back after switching it off and get the second key.[/spoiler-box]

Boss Fights

The box will appear a short time after you are on the platform

The second box is on the opposite side of the map where you were spawned. Once again it'll take a short time for it to spawn[/spoiler-box]

And after finding all 24 keys you will see all of these lovely boxes!!!!!

So far I've managed to find 18 out of 24 discs. Below is a list. I didn't see anyone else with a guide to the locations so I'm hoping we can fill out the list and people will find it useful!

VR: Entrance
Above enemies in second room (Need a ranged weapon)
Behind false wall/door behind teleporter



VR: Block A-a
Box that appears in center of area upon clearing enemies
Far end of area opposite start switch

VR: Block A-b
Fake wall to the left of end of corridor leading to laser fence area teleport
Corner of laser fence area after clearing enemies

VR: Block A-c
None found?



VR: Block B-a
West end of second clearing, before tunnel
Inside fake wall to west of third clearing (after tunnel) - appears only after clearing the area beyond

VR: Block B-b
Center of area after clearing enemies

VR: Block B-c
Behind you at start of area



VR: Block C-a
Beyond locked door after first teleport (activate 4 floor buttons) behind Barta traps
Center crate to the right as you pass through the key-locked door (last area)

VR: Block C-b
First tree after first spawn (use Goggles)
Behind door to the south of the tree with the disc

VR: Block C-c
Beyond false wall/door after fenced area. (Activate 2 floor buttons) Note: Go south in room with 3 crates to find room with 4 crates + disc




VR: Main Block 2
Behind false wall/door at top of first stair
Behind short wall at top of second stair (Use floor button to disable ice trap)


VR: Final Block
Boss 1: Dark Falz
Box at center of raft? (Appears when boss is damaged?)



That's 18/24, all of which can be found playing solo. Anyone know where the rest are? Are they accessible playing solo?

A-c is the block with the mushrooms. You need 7Kv of mushrooms to access the first one and then 16Kv of mushrooms to access the last one. Just equip a sleep resist and touch every single mushroom you can find.

Let's see....

Block B-b is the one with the Big Push..? Right..? Heh heh - use your goggles to find this one - after using the teleporter, it's on your left.

Block B-c... that's the one with the Rappy Gugg, right..? After you kill everything, before exiting the place, shoot the fruit that's on the tree to the left of the exit. There should be four fruits there. One of them has the disc.

Block C-c... that's the Mines...

It's behind the recharge cube, there's a fake wall.

In the final two blocks/boss rooms, I think you need to wait about 10-30 seconds for them to appear. You just break open the boxes and you automatically get the key.

For De Rol Lie, it's in the center of the raft. For Alterazgoug, you it's straight on from where you start (North of the map, I think...). You can't really miss it but just watch out that you don't kill either bosses before you break the box(es).

They can all be gotten solo. Me and my friend found them all by just patting all of the walls and remembering all of the little "tricks" to each of the rooms and working out that there are a dozen rooms each with two keys in them. Block C-c and block um... B-b..? (The Big Push one) was the ones that stumped us but we still got 24/24 discs on the first run, heh heh.

Okay so my friends and I are having a lot of trouble finding all the discs for the new event mission.

I've looked everywhere I can think of to find them but I have been having no luck!

The most we've gotten is 12 discs! But I found something that said 10+ discs gets you, your S-Rank! But the more you get past 10 gets you better boxes at the end.

Can anyone help me?

So im not too sure where i would post this at but about the discs in the event there are only 2 that i CANNOT seem to find them, and from the looks of it most other people dont either because whenever i join every party we are only missing 2, and we get theones at the bosses too..


if anyone knows where these 2 discs are please let me know!! TY
