No new Xbox char

It looks as if Xbox might not be getting a new character. In the new Egm they show a picture of Xbox pso of the character selection screen and no new character was shown.

yes..we all know how the console secretly maintains a rumors website at night.

The rumors of a new character spread from ST when it was first shown at TGS2002. Since then, no word of it. Microsoft could, in theory, have some sort of content download in the future...but dont hold out for it.

edit: By it I mean PSOX, not the mysterious supposed new character

Verbal bashing aside, this does leave in the posibility of inter-species marriage... or .. er.. cross-console online play.
Apparently the Xbox ver. is a carbon copy of GC PSO.
If anything is different it would be an item or two...

Perhaps we will see ST's true vision come to fruition.

I really doubt that GC PSO and Xbox PSO will be able to play with each other. Main reason is that Microsoft is hosting the Xbox servers and the HL payments and Sega is doing the GCN Servers.

XBOX LIVE is a closed server so only LIVE members can play on it. PSOX is an XBOX LIVE game it comes with the XBOX LIVE starter kit in japan.

My X-box told me that Microsoft is going to buy Sega and that all PSO servers will be shut down and the only way you will get on PSO is with Microsoft's servers and the Live service.
