View Full Version : If FKL was a mechanime...

What kind of mech would you pilot?

You can also say how would you behave, or post suggestions on what mech should other person pilot etc...

Go and discuss!!!!

Mine would be Crimsom colored (oh rly?), attack type. It's main wepon would be pair of (oversized) swords and dezintegration cannon hidden in chest. It would also have mass of those barely noticable armaments: Rope darts, rifles etc.
And energy wings. A nessecity
Something like this:

I would pilot the KD-06 Asteroid Windom2000 SP1 from Bootfighter. I'm pretty sure anybody who has played the game will pick something from there.

Basically, this robot right here.

[spoiler-box]http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/5673/bootfighterrobotcv2.png[/spoiler-box]

It has a gun that can fire lasers and explosives, twin plasma blades, chest lasers, and wing spread lasers. (I don't know what to call them, really. They launch out of the robot's back and sides, and they look like wings. Therefore, I labeled them wing lasers.)

It looks like Justice Gundam.... Actually, what was first? This or Justice?

Tact
Aug 27, 2008, 04:38 PM
If you're talking to me, the game was actually made as a Gundam tribute/ripoff. It's no surprise that the robots in Bootfighter look like Gundam robots.

Okay... nice to know....

That game's on PC right?

Where can you get it?

Tact
Aug 27, 2008, 04:49 PM
Yes, it is a PC game. Check your PM's, Crimsom.

Oh, and by the way...don't use the Black Comb. It's too cheap. :disapprove:

Hmm, so you're saying that giant robots are essentially an example of chindogu?

A chindogu is an invention that has actually been made and serves some practical purpose, but is too difficult and/or silly to use.

Zarode

Tact, you are thinking too far in to this.

I just think FKL has the flu, and needs some tissues. Thus, we are the tissue bot!

What's with the whole "Division by zero destroys everything" meme?

All it does is make "undef" show up on a graphing calculator. :disapprove:

Nitro Vordex
Aug 27, 2008, 05:21 PM
Because you can't divide by zero.

Zero can go into any number an infinite amount of times, and never reach that number. If you somehow divide by zero and get the number, you just broke physics and probably the universe.

Hell, maybe you even broke a dimension.

TalHex
Aug 27, 2008, 05:23 PM
i don't know, it might work at the bottom of a black hole, physics gets fuck-ugly near there

Nitro Vordex
Aug 27, 2008, 05:26 PM
Black holes ARE THE RESULT OF DIVIDING BY ZERO.*

Nitro Vordex
Aug 27, 2008, 05:34 PM
No, stars are the only thing that could support dividing by zero's explosion/results, so stars are the fuel.

Some idiot probably tried to divide by zero. >_>

TalHex
Aug 27, 2008, 05:36 PM
and that is why we haven't encountered any aliens yet, they try to divide by zero before space travel

Tact

You're right.

My new favorites are:

KD-08-3 Anthurium Linux and KD-06 Asteroid-0 Windom 2k (looonnnggg names..)

Oh, the second Asteroid (the red one) is good too...
And Longhorn Vista. Gunbods are pure awesomeness...

btw; Black Comb is serious overkill. Just how many guns that thing has?

Tact

btw; Black Comb is serious overkill. Just how many guns that thing has?

Let's see, it has its default gun attack and then it has those laser pods attached to its back.

At the very least, I would say it has seven guns.

CrimsomWolf
Aug 28, 2008, 12:11 PM
Just checked.

It has two beam rifles + 8 laser pods. So it's 10.

10 guns....

Plus two very big swords...

Tact
Aug 28, 2008, 12:14 PM
Ugh, those things do so much damage that it's not even funny.

I was testing my meme pilot and I got the Comb when I picked Random. I ended up smacking a robot into the ground so hard that it got stuck there for five or six seconds. Okay, so that was a glitch. Still, it goes to show how overpowered the Comb is.
