annoying caps

Has someone randomly showed up and start talking to you on a game in full caps, and very very bad typing that usually makes no sense at all.

that gets sooo annoying speacially when they keep talking, and start asking questions that also make no sense with like 60 questions marks at the end.

an example: HI YOU WHERE I GO TOWN YOU KNOW????????????

and no matter how much you try helping they just repeat the same line, or make it even more annoying and about impossible to help.

Not in-game, but I have once on MSN. I also recall a certain someone who used to do that in FKL a while ago. :wacko:

i actually had a couple people randomly add me on msn and one ask me if i knew someone and they became annoying immediately...

Oh, I agree. I don't get how people can type like that. I've known people (mostly when I was in college the first time) that were great at English and made great grades on grammar tests, and then typed horribly online. I never got why. I never typed like that, even when I first first got on the Internet, so I guess it's laziness.

I will never understand why my English skills are better than those of some Englishmen or American people I met online. I am young 16 years old, from Germany, and teached me all the English stuff myself. The English we learn in school is laughable, honestly.

If I meet someone like you described, I try to be friendly, though. I have no idea why his/her grammar is so bad, but it is no reason to act unfriendly towards them. They try their best.

Of course some people seem like they want to be annoying. ;0

Don't help people unless they write in a proper language and style.

They will either get pissed at you, or they'll smarten up. You win either way.

Aside from how annoying some people are when they try scamming/begging i usually end up laughing at how hard many try, and i ALWAYS play them through and give them fake passwords. a couple of them usually end up saying HAHA sucker, logout and log on and freakout at ya for tricking them, its awesome. A few on runescape did it.

On tibia people usually send you a link in a whisper, and it leads to a fake copy of the games homepage saying you need to log in and i cant believe how many people fall for it.
I honestly dont know why the owners dont try tracking down the IPaddress of the names and charge them for copyright infringement.

You guys have some interesting "friends".

I once had someone on MSN a friend "kindly" sent me. She was from Quebec (I'm french).
She was all typing in abreviated Quebec slang with typos and capslock from times to times.
Not to add the annoying smiley shortcuts (like "pa" showing walking shoes) randomly appearing in middle of sentences...
Seriously, I felt several times like if I'd have better chances in having a philosophical debate with Chewbacca. :disapprove:

Oh yeah, and there is that person (I still don't know if it is a guy or a girl) who ran after me in Colony during MAG 2, spamming my name, to give me his / her card. Sends me a 'Hi' mail from times to times, with no further reply (after I sent one).
After one whole month, I still don't have a damn idea of who it cen be... :confused:
