how does lumira / spread work?

I got one and decided to put it on my AT but can't really notice the range difference with anything other than ra-spells. Can someone explain to me which spell if any are unaffected. I decided to put it on my AT because AT already already has a speeed boost so I really don't need ahar /quick and the spread unit boosts tech and range which I think would be good on an AT. If it doesn't rove too useful I'll probably switch back to another har quick.

I'd personally use Lumira / Spread on FT and MF. The range boost only affects normal and Ra technics. The unit itself is quite situational though, you won't use it all the time.
