This weekend I got PSU fever and wanted to level many of my Bullet PA's beyond 21+ so I was trying to decide what missions to run. I wanted something easy, monsters with a ton of HP and S2 so I can get 2 PA Frags... still need over 100 to complete my PA set-up. I look at Linear Line, Unsafe Passage... Area drop [B] Crea Doubles... after a few runs I wind up finding one... I was pretty excited. Then I check the materials... 15 Goldania... and currently on X360 they are priced at 350K... and I had 5, so if I wanted to MAKE a Crea Doubles it would cost me at least another 3.5 million. I check the going prices... 30% various elements 0/10 = 3 - 4 million. If I actually wanted to make meseta it would have to come out +38% so I decide to sell the dam board... yeah 100K... not even worth selling.

Then I decide to do Sleeping Warriors... area drop [B] Psycho Wand. Well needless to say I didn't find one... but I did find a [B] Svaltus Sword. Then it was the same deal with the Crea Doubles... almost EXACTLY the same... 15 Goldania... and to "break even" it would have to come out +38% or higher and the board only sells for 100K. Now I look at this in 3 ways... First, the materials are NOT dropping at the same rate in which the boards that need the materials. Second, people are pricing their materials too high. And 3rd maybe there are items that are better so players are selling their "old" weapons.

As I'm playing I decide to make a few Cubo Tuma's ( Yeah I'm a Guntecher, so what! ) seeing as how the boards are 100K and don't require a Gemstone... I have the Petanite to make 5... PLENTY of Merculine but 0 Mot Walna... ok so I'll buy 25 Mot Walna... at 150K a piece = 3,750,000 meseta!!! Where can I FIND Mot Walna... best I know is Awoken Serpent... 4 - 5 chances to get Mot Walna and 2 chances on the Boss Boxes. 2 Runs later I have 4 Mot Walna... do I play this mission 10 more times to get 21 more Mot walna? This run is WAY too long... De Rol Lie is a long battle even with using Bows for distance shooting.

I decide to run Mad Creatures... YES Mad Creatures S2... I'm averaging 2 - 3 Par Walna a run, < 15 minutes ( Exit the mission, fly to Neudaiz to check for Phantom Fissure ) and asorted gemstones... a Goldania every-other run!!! Now I don't know if this is just luck or if Gemstones drop like candy here... I did well more than 20+ runs and sold WELL more than what I needed to buy in Mot Walna to make my Cubo Tuma's... which 4/5 came out... waiting for the grinding boost :-) The Par Walna's sold for 225K which I found about 50 of them in 5 or so hours, and about 10 Goldania which I sold for 350K each...

Why was I hunting for "Boards" when in 5 - 6 hours I made 15 million meseta in materials?

Where can I FIND Mot Walna... best I know is Awoken Serpent... 4 - 5 chances to get Mot Walna and 2 chances on the Boss Boxes.

1) Desert Terror is much better for Mot Walna. Don't fight the boss and just break the trees and abandon.

2) The price of Goldania is a side affect of GBR and White Beast. Neudaiz does not drop *nia it drops *ad. Copernia, Armania, Goldania, Titania all drop on Parum and Moatoob missions that aren't on relics sites. Since people are mainly in neudaiz they aren't getting the Goldania that is required for 10* Kubara striking weapons (not Kubara copies like Ank Deddac, Kubara weapons like Svaltus, Carriguiruc, etc).

3) Easiest money in the game currently is Relic Edges. Do the story mission. Run to the box room, break the boxes. Collect your polymer/resin, Omega Acid, and sometimes Relic Edge. Abandon, repeat. Takes about 5 mins per run. If you want to, you can also fight Howzer, but that takes another 10~15 mins thanks to the mandatory cut scene.

Yeah GBR is really messing things up... and all the stuff that drops in those missions are dropping in value fast. Neu Walna is below Mot Walna in price... and Diads are pretty low too. On the "break the trees" & "break the boxes" methods... that gets kinda boring after awhile. I did the "Catilium" method in Agata Relics and get about 5 in 30 minutes, but I start to fall asleep ;-)

Eh, for Catilium I just fail a bunch of 7* and 8* striking weapons. Hiken, Soda Hazzo, Soda Hazzoc, etc. It's not like the materials are expensive. Most people will give you a stack of Kersline or Vestaline if you ask. Slaterian and Stelnium are plentiful. The "hardest" thing to come across is neu ebon and Kubara woob. Both of which I have stacks of. Besides three neu ebon at 4k each to make a (currently) 300k item is a good enough bargain. Most 7* striking boards are dirt cheap too if you don't feel like hunting them.

Since I'm in the story mission, Hiken and Soda Hazzoc boards drop frequently enough that I don't have to pay for them. Even lucked out on a few Maiden dolls which should be a pretty good sell whenever the Maiden outfit is released.

Either that or find a group for Bruce runs.

It's not about actual rarity. It's about, do you want to spend the time to get the items in question.

Since most people would rather buy the items instead of hunt them, this leaves plenty of money to go around for the hunters. Demand will always outpace supply in this game. Especially if more than 60% of the population stays in one location. All of the items that drop in other locations will raise in price.

I tried that "failing" method before... I wasn't getting Catilium as I wanted to... but I was getting Walna which is pricy now, when I was doing it... Walna was 50K - 60K... not 100K - 225K. And you get 3 tries on the board and Kerseline is really cheap. This all reinforces what I originally posted... the Materials for these items is what's being sought after, not the actual board. Maybe I can try to MAKE Walna to bring down the price of them... but then you have that 1 guy who buys-out ALL of an item and then sets the price REAL high... he'll have like 75+ of each Walna :-(
