Luck Materials and FOmar: Worth it?

So, I'm planning on maxing my uber-bishonen FOmar's stats pretty soon, and it occured to me: I've not once seen a FOmar use melee in Ultimate mode. NOT ONCE. Sure, he's built for it, like FOmarl, but its just not a common sight, even with the 3589257348 FOmars running around nowadays.

Is it worth it, using Luck Materials on a FOmar? Or should I just concentrate on building my lackluster MST?

Not sure if this is true, but Luck is supposed to afect Megid's chance of killing. If you melee with your FOmar with a Platain Huge Fan or such,Luck will make a big difference, you'll eventually be able to melee like HUnters, and have good techs too. Plus, you're a Human, you've got the leeway why not?

Luck only gives you more of a chance of getting a critical hit. Therefore, in my opinion, it's pointless to raise that stat as a force.

Yeah but if at 200 all your other stats are maxed anyways...I don't see why not. =l

How about letting your other non-force characters have the materials?

Or, better yet, hand them out to others.

Wx12 is correct. Luck only affects critical hits that you can do to an enemy.

I'd dine down on power/mind/evade/defense mats and avoid the Luck - It's not worth it unless you fight all the time. Ideal for HU & RA, but not FO.

Also, I should mention that it took me around 475 hours to find 45 Luck material...

luck is somewhat useful if you are a mechgun heavy user, but a fomar has totally lousy ata and can barely hit with mechs let alone get critical hits. if i had o do it over, i would have given those 5 luck mats to my racast. my fomar would be no different with 10 luck instead of 20. why would anyone melee a fomar in ulti when the have such bad ata?

my friend just used mind and pow mats for his fomar (L136). And he does play his guy as a melee a fair amount of the time (with elysion and holy ray).

Nah luck is a waste. Just get a weapon with high Hit% then cast S/D/J/Z and rush those rappies down!

hehe i messed up and are paying for it i fed my fone =/ 15 luck mats and power mats to =/ and well never used a weapon u cant hit a thing in ult and well offline ult i use gifoie and dam 500 damage nothing like vr2 dc of course i use a amp and magical piece and im far behind in mst caused used those mats and i maxed on mats too sooo u think the techs are melee it all depends on what use to boost those techs the 9 star wands are very usefull my lvl 30 foie with a fire secpter i do 700 offline so get some wands and expierment opps off topic =/ dont flame me lol anyways bye
