im looking for missions that drop the Mugunruk board.

via PSU pedia, it drops off Kog Nadd (lvl 100+)

and the only mission listed is Cost of Research S2 (which requires 2 people)

Is there any way to solo farm this?

can't get very far into CoR before you hit the first set of 2 buttons to open the next door

anyone has seen it drop elsewhere?

I just duo'd or trio'd CoR, with a few friends, but I don't remember the maps well enough to know if theres one where you can get to the end and skip the switches (I dont think there is) and as far as I know, COR is the only mission with that level of Kogg Nadd. So ...you have a dilemma :S

You could only solo farm during the Winter Event which had a section of CoR with all the Kogg Nadds in it, for the event they changed it so 1 person could just step on both buttons needed to get to the Kog Nadd spawns.

If desperate for Srank spear (I guess you're preparing for FM?), you could try the Yohemi version.

ST needs to add in another mission with Koggs at lv 100+ and lv 150+, if for nothing else than Koggs being fun to fight <3

Could also say that this is another way of ST showing that they hate FMs (the bosses all being so anti-melee, especially the worms, being the first one).

It's kind of ridiculous, the spears range from 500k and up but the boards are starting from 7 mil.

The spears drop in Forest of Illusion with shitty %s, and the boards hardly ever drop, so that's why.

<< noticed the new avatar from bea* : omg, so it out! :o
and ST really anti melee classes now, because FM is too strong, the point that all new 12* melee are low % pre-made is caused by that.

I have been posted before that the logic ST use is this : http://www.pso-world.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2107421&postcount=52

but anyway, they need to change it or fix it somehow or else people will keep quitting, there is nothing to hunt for people who is FM only, basically they just rely on old weapon high %.

You're paying for a shot at making a high elemental %.
I found a Mugunbergac with 9% Ice on it. Made one with 50% Fire.

If FM is really that overpowered, why the heck not make some bosses melee resistant on S and S2? Sure beats sitting there, waiting for a boss to get within attack range.

Most of the boss has melee resist (you do only half of the actual damage)
for example Alteratsu Gouz, Dark fakis, etc.
but that is just simply not enough, lol.

unless they gonna make a new type of resist (call hyper-resist? ) to reduce the damage to just 25%.
but after that GM will become over power instead.

Ya know, honestly, I'd prefer Gunners to be overpowered. This game is suppost to take place in the future, right? Then why the hell are we still using close range melee weapons?
We have access to energy firing sniper rifles, laser beam cannons, grenade launchers, bullets that can actually go THROUGH the enemies, knock them in the air, and even kill them in one hit! Are we gonna go back to Sword Fighting in 500 years just for the heck of it? What happened to progress?

THat shotgun looks terrifying if use on human...eek.

Sorry Chucky, but you can't killed enemies with guns
in PSU easily like Metal Gear Solid 4. This isn't "boom!!!"
headshot type of game...lol.

Sorry, I felt like ranting about Sega's logic. :disapprove:

Maybe it's not the future. Maybe it's a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Maybe photon properties are completely different from other physical properties. You can empty many gun rounds into a grizzly bear or crocodile and they'll keep going. Sometimes you need a good old photonic blade to sever a limb or two. XD

That shotgun video surely was eye opening, I almost drooled. Besides that, I do agree that it would be nice to have another mission soon for those Mugunruk hunters.

There are however, alternatives. Gekitsnata (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/15/2288/board_gekitsnata/) anyone? :wacko:

Looks much better than a mugunruk to me. uhh i actually see it this way
Gekitsnata= F fighters
Mugunruk=M fighters

Gekitsnata looks so much better. And those boards drop every other run at Flowery Pursuit.

Man, I need to start running that again. Y_Y

Gekitsnata is a decent replacement, but I'd die and pay a lot for Gunruks ;_;
