Playing Offline unconnected

Is there a way to patch the game so it disables the Gameguard internet checking ONLY for OFFLINE mode but yet it works without any problems in network mode?

Soon I'll move and I'll be some time without Internet access, so I thought I could give Offline Mode a try if someone can tell me how to skip the Gameguard padlock.
