The S.O.S Brigade is proud to announce our first event!

The Endless Nightmare!


What is this event?:
This event is aimed at helping new players, players with low leveled alternate characters, players who are just low leveled, and people who left but don't want to come back because they feel they are too far behind the rest of the community. This event is to help players gain a substantial amount of levels in as short amount of time as possible.

Players will be formed into parties preferably no larger than 5 so staff members can randomly join and check on their progress, but it is not required. If you need to you can have a party of 6. Parties should consist of players roughly the same level, or at least in the same level tier. Once parties have been decided they will run the missions for their tier, as they gain levels they will move up in tiers once all of their party meets that tier's requirements. YOUR PARTY MAY NOT BREAK UP THROUGHOUT THIS EVENT! Stick with your party and help everyone in it level up just as they are helping you. This event is not only to help you level up but to encourage a sense of teamwork and cooperation that the game is currently lacking.

When and where is it?:
The event will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2008. It will begin at 6pm EDT and will run until 6am EDT. There will be a break at Midnight for people who want to either stop at that point or for people who want to start at that point. The opening Ceremony and mid-way point and closing Ceremony will be held at Universe 02, 3rd Floor Colony, The Club.

What about prizes?:
Prizes will be awards for the party that on average gains the most levels, the party that on average gains the most experience, as well as raffles to get the chance to earn extra prizes. Prizes will be announced at the mid-way point and the end. So for example you can earn a prize for most levels gained at the half way point as well as most levels gained from the half way point to the end and overall most levels gained.

To be eligible for the Most levels gained and Most EXP gained please register your parties with us ahead of time, that way we can quickly and easily locate your party and get the proper info required to decide on this prize. The Raffles however are open to all, including walk ins.

Now then, getting a party registered with you guys ahead of time would be the real kicker, seeing as my list of friends has dwindled to one, maybe two people from time to time. Any way to get assistance around this one?

Well, I'll talk with the rest of the Brigade and see if we can set something up where people give us the character they will be using and it's level and we could put those who can't find a party into one.

Alright, since so few teams have signed up lets do this, if you cannot form a team simply post that you would like to participate. It depends on the party. If the rest of the Party can advance then yes you move to the next tier, if the rest of the party cannot, you help them until you all can move up.

Ok, I will be signing up with my Cast ForteGunner, he fits into Tier 3. Since we still have few people signed up for the tiers other than 5 this is what I am going to do, people signed up for tier 1 and 2 will be one party, you will start at tier 1 and when everyone is atleast level 15 you move up to tier 2. For Tiers 3 and 4 I will combine you into 1 party, you start at Tier 3 and when everyone is atleast lvl 55 you move up to Tier 4. Tiers 6 and 7 will be formed into 1 party as well starting at tier 6, when everyone is atleast level 115 you will move up to tier 7.
