The japanese web site is still up for PSU. SEGA.COM main web site is down as well. One can only speculate at this point why All the world PSU servers are down and the PSU web site as well. Its a safe bet that what ever has happend has something to do with a hostile takeover. Its clear that SEGA and Sonic Team have done a really poor job with PSU. We should welcome a takeover if that is the case. Any kind of fresh new company that might actually try to make a profit from PSU might make it worth playing. If you could get enough online accounts in the game. There might actually be real updates. They might actually make new levels planets. Who knows?


If nothing else we will at least hear in the news about how SEGA crashed. Any kind of MMO with monthly income is likely to be saved.
