I was wondering what happens to the grind of your weapon. Does it reset to 0/10 after the exchange or does it keep the grind? For specifics, what would happen to a 4/8 Degahna Cannon when I exchange if for Adahna Degahna Cannon?

I'd guess that you can. You can sell weapons from The Collector.

I got a question also concerning this arms dealer. for example if you upgrade a crea double do the elemental percentages stay the same or are they also re rolled?

Elemental percents are rerolled; and in the case of exchanges where the item received is not a fixed element, the element you receive on the new weapon may not match the element of the weapon you traded.

thank you Espio. I guess it is time for me to go and buy up all the cheap stuff now.

Good idea, but how many Chevalier Edges do you hope to get? With exception to a select few, most weapons will need it. I only have 1G atm so I'm gonna have to use it wisely.

This leads to another question. Will we be able to sell Chevalier Edges? If we can the prices of those things might be rather ugly on the first day of this trade mission.

i don't mean the casino stuff. I mean the base weapons and mats. Before the mission comes out. Also there is suppose to be an event if i recall correctly that bumps up our daily silver amount to ten a day i think.

I think what you are talking about is one of the possible reward for the Lightning Carnival. There is no guarantee that we will get that reward, but if we do that would be great. I am also in the act of collecting the base weapons and mats at the moment. Happy hunting.

Wait, what? Example? Items w/o fixed elements = guns and tech stuff right? So if you're trading in guns and tech stuff you'd be getting back more guns and tech stuff which doesn't have an element anyway. Am I missing something? lolz:-?

When he says an item that has a fixed element, I think he means weapons like Flowen's Greatsword+ being a dark only weapon. An item without fixed elements would be melee weapons that could be any element like the Chainsawd+. This would overall mean that if you came to trade and had a ground Chainsawd and did the trade mission to get the Chainsawd+ the sword you got back could actually be ice instead of remaining ground. Trade in 17% ground Chainsawd and Chain Edge, get back 23% ice Chainsawd+. For guns and tech stuff it really doesn't matter. Correct me if I am understanding this wrong.

No I get your point on the base weapons, and I would do it myself, but then I think "how much is black heart (unit)?" and "can I even get a Chevalier Edge?". If you want the actual weapons, it doesn't matter how many base weapons you have if you don't have the Chevalier edge (I did forget about the bumped up daily silver) - you won't be able to trade. If you're just looking to make some $$, then yeah, stocking up on weapons/mats would be wise. Though I would be careful not to put in too much. Like I was saying, the problem most people will face is not enough Chevelier Edge, because it would be the hardest ingredient to get. So most people will already have the other ingredients sitting around. Those selling won't be able to sell. It might be better idea to stock up and sell BEFORE the event.
Managed to make a bunch on Clothier items before and IMMEDIATELY right after it came out when people were scrambling for ingredients and before everyone started selling there's.

Oh ok, I guess that makes more sense. I thought he meant the item you were trading in had a fixed element. I was like, "...um don't all melee weapons?":p

Sorry to bring up a dead topic, but I figured it would be better than creating a new one. Anyways, when trading a weapon that can be multiple elements (for example the Chainsawd) is it restricted by that 30% cap or can it go up to 50%?

probably better to make a new topic than bump a rather old topic.

anyways, it can be any element, including neutral, and any where from 1~50%.

oh that was what i wanted to know. thx!

(looking at my luck with elemental %'s) i'll be VERY happy with my Sange & Yasha 1% something :D
