1:24? looks like a pretty mad ape. Looks actually thinner and tougher than a Gibbles. Maybe yes, maybe not.

It's probably a tribute at any rate - you know what SEGA are like about these things. (The Sorcerer enemy in PSU's HIVE being almost identical to Chaos Sorcerers, for example.)

The white fur suggests we'll see it in the Icy Plains level. Most likely the boss.
