I am new to PSO rigth now and I have a few questions. On the forces how many abilitys can they do. Is it only two? I played the demo on PC and I played with the Humar and he could only do 2 attcks witch was pretty boring. Like once you level up on your force charter is there like 10 differnt fire attacks, lighting attacks, and cold attcks?

There are 3 fire, ice and lightning techniques, varying in bang factor respectfully. There are also a Light and Dark techniques, Grants and Megid.

I have no idea what you mean exactly. there are only eleven different attack techs and then there are seven support techs and Ryuker. Forces can use every tech in the game, Hunters can use a great deal of them too, I only can't user Reverser, Shifta and Jellen and Grants and one other I don't recall. Hunters are also limited by what level the techs can be, only fifteen to the force who can bring it up to thirty.

The other you couldn't remember, Thewiredkight, was Megid.

Well, as far as physical attacks go... No matter what weapon you have equipped, you can do a standard and a strong attack. The standard attack is a normal attack, and the Strong attack does more damage, is a bit slower, stuns the enemy more, but is less accurate, unless you combo it. For Techniques ((Spells)) There are 11 attack techniques. Foie, GiFoie, and RaFoie are fire attacks. Zonde, GiZonde, and RaZonde are the thunder techniques. Barta, GiBarta, and RaBarta are the ice techniques. Normal is the weakest, Gi- is medium, Ra- is most powerful. Grants is the light technique, does damage. Megid is the dark technique, it has a low chance to instakill. The rest are support techniques. Ryuker opens a portal to town. Reverser ressurects a dead party member. Resta heals. Deband and Shifta are defense and attack buffs. Jellen and Zalure are attack and defense debuffs. Anti cures status effects. Androids can never cast any techniques, but get Traps. Conusion, Freeze, and Damage traps. FOrces can cast all techniques, and all levels of techniques. HUmars can learn all techniques except Reverser, Grants, Megid, Deband, and Shifta. The max level for their techs is 15. HUnewearls can learn all techs except Reverser, Grants, and Megid. They can get spells up to level 20. RAmars can learn all techs except Reverser, Grants, Megid, Jellen, and Zalure. They can get techs up to level 15. RAmarls can use all techs except Reverser, Grants, and Megid. They can get techs up to level 20. Hope that helps! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Thats all great info. Lets just say for those fire skills. Once you level up can you put certain points into that skill say like...RaFoie could you put points into that and max it out.Could you like also put points into your heath, or like stamana. If any of you ever played Diablo 2 you know what I am talking about with the skills.

Also the fire, thunder, and ice abilitys are they differnt with each charters.

About Techniques you find them on the ground as you advance to different levels (caves, mines.etc..) and different difficulties (hard, vhard, ultimate) you find higher level of these techniques.

You also will find mateirals. like HP Mats, EVP mats, and POW mats. which raise they're respective stat by 2.

When you gain a level your skills are raised automatically.

the 12 set character classes are what you are limited to in varitiy. But depending on what you use as weapons, barriers, shields, and how you distribute your materials You may play differently then another of your type.

Hope this answers all your questions.

Actually, most ?SPECIAL WEAPONS and all ???? Weapons have some sort of third attack. The third attack is very innnacurate but has a sepcial effect like HP drain, fire damage, or added damage by draining your money/hp/tp.

no its not like D2(which is also a great gameand you also cant choose which skills you you want to bring up, as the game chooses for you. there are however items you can use to level up certain stats

all the attack spells have 30 levels for forces. 4 of the support skills have 30 levels. anti has 7 levels. reverser and ryuker are max skills.

skill levels are attained with technique discs. technique discs are in area boxes, sold in the item shop and are monster drops. if you have the required mst (mental strength) you can use a higher level disc.

attack power increases with tech level and mst. all support techs increase with disc level. resta (healing technique) increases with disc level and mst. speed, range, and technique point (tp) cost increase with levels. certain weapons, shields and armor units increase the power of techniques.

you dont have to worry about balancing your skills, you need only worry about maximum skill levels being attained. any other info you need will be learned very fast after playing a bit.
