I'm starting a betting pool on how long it will take that dinosaur to die from smoke inhalation.

It's a dinosaur riding on top of a train. I think its personal life expectancy is looking pretty good at the moment.

It's inhaling more smoke than the entire population of Los Angeles.

I think it's going down soon.

Don't worry, that train has an armor rating of 675. There's no way they can break through.

This sort of thing is precisely why the Tobacco-powered steam engine never caught on.

I'm skeptical of the idea that tobacco smoke is significantly more harmful than coal smoke.
Choo choo!

Maybe the engineer is cheering because the dinosaur is preventing pollution by consuming the smoke. >.> No

I could make an illicit -ugs joke about puff dragons now dinos, but I won't.

Big boy on top just really likes second hand smoke immediately or something.
Looks like he's enjoying it.

Is stego-style purple guy dragging his tail on the ground? Or is he preparing to joust other trains with the whip it good?

New government funded study? It might be hard to find a lot of dinosaurs for them to test on. Let's take a look at this panel of applicants, leaked from the United States Department of Medicine and Dinosaur Care:

These intrepid youngin's have been all around Pangaea and back and they are ready for more! But will their experience in surviving whatever the world can throw at them make them adequate subjects for tobacco vs coal? We suspect coal may have been used to colorize these fellows at some point.
Rejected.

The Sinclair family has been through several seasons of backwards counting, wise cracking, often politically charged television before being brought to an end. Currently available on two DVD boxsets. Had a special dedicated to the effects of drugs on the body. These subjects are not clean specimens.
Rejected.

This handsome devil was genetically engineered to not be able to reproduce, as it is apparently female. We have sent our expert, Dr. Ian Malcolm, to inspect this. We have a single log on file of his interview with Mr./Miss Rex. Document follows:

Dr.Malcolm: I have approached the dinosaur, subject Rex, with an offering of a goat. The giant has appeared to accept my gift and has let me approach. I tried to work my sexy charm (I even looked good in "The Fly") and perform my operation code-named "lifting up the dinosaur's skirt". My fellow expert is sitting back with a camera taking photos of the dinosaur's movements and reactions, as this may help us determine any issues subject Rex may have. I am performing my operation now.

Oh god.

http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/3117/trexpa0.gifSubject was unwilling to cooperate further.
Rejected.

Bob Dole is Bob Dole and don't your forget about Bob Dole because Bob Dole says that Bob Dole is too old for anyone who isn't Bob Dole to be experimenting on old Bob Dole.

Rejected.

I think the study might be a few more years away at this rate. Let's hope they keep looking.
