so I haven't logged in at all recently.. what do the shout outs say? is it just like "hey this is themates saying whats up to my clan and my girl so and so...."

or are they more in line with "radio news messages" that the theme states?

I'll be really dissapointed if sega just picked stupid shoutouts to friends to broadcast.. cause i'm sure some people sent in decent lines about the game progress or about changes in the game or something..
