I always thought it kind of odd that none of the pokemon would attack some jerk riding on set rails in a minecart, blasting them with flashes of light.

The flashes of light are actually stunning the Pokemon, preventing them from getting close enough to attack you. :wacko:

So then they should attack you if you fail at taking the pictures, or just sit there and watch. =D

That said, I enjoyed trying to beat my own scores for long enough that at first I didn't realize there wasn't much to the game besides a glorified roller coaster ride.
