Can't wait to get my hands on this game

I wonder how long the rest of the world will have to wait. (Provided we don't import)

Looking at the past, this might be hard to predict.

I kind of hope it comes out in the summer; PSO has always been a summer game to me.

I'm thinking sometime in the spring or summer (possibly on the late end of winter, before spring). Definitely not Fall or later for the US, unless they just put it on the backburner.

Ill go ahead and guess 1st quarter, so early-mid spring probably. Sega would have done well to try and go for a simultaneous release (actually, a release roughly a month before christmas would have helped them the most obviously) if only for the holidays. As is, Im afraid that college will keep me from playing it as much as Id like when it first comes out.

Well if you avg out those months, Its about 3.6repeating so i'd say 4 months based on avg, and 6 months because it took them about that long for PSP.

In the late spring/early summer...

The other major releases (PSO DC, PSO GC and PSU) only were released a month or two after the JP version. Call me optimist but I'm hoping for a similar timetable. I would say… PSŲ NA by the end February, PSŲ EU in April or May. (Wishful thinking?)

well, i seriously doubt you'd see PS0 in NA by February since Phantasy Star Portable is being released in March. My guess is Sega would want to space those two games out a bit.

they hardly need to, opposing platforms dont usually play by those rules.

True, but the brands are similar. For that reason, I think SEGA's going to wait and see how PSP does before they announce a date for PSZ outside Japan. SEGA Worldwide already sees Phantasy Star as a niche series; I don't think they're in a rush to push this game.

Yeah, so at the very least expect PS0 after PSP comes out in NA and Europe. So sometime after March in NA right?

Dear god, I hope so.

I was taking a stroll through a local store, seeing what's what for HDTVs (need one by year's end)...
and happened across a NDS. ~.~? That's it? Those things are a lot smaller than I thought.

Isn't the DSi supposed to be touch bigger than the current one?

The DSi is slightly longer and also 12% thinner.
