New Soul Drops

I received a report this morning of 'Nel Soul,' formerly known as Nei's Soul, dropping from Electronic Brain S boss boxes:

If we received the rest of this item drop update, Kireek's Soul and Dallgun Bromide should be dropping too. Kireek's Soul should drop from Dark Falz boxes and Dallgun Bromide from De Rol Le/Alterazgohg.

Dallgun Bromide is Festa event drop only. It doesn't drop from bosses boxes, but it drop from event boxes that appear when you gain more than 10 disc.

Now, I wonder guardian tag and Illuminus tag again.

Ah, cool. They threw another one in for us. Though, I wonder if it may still be "Nei Soul," just with the I capitalized. (I'm at least hoping it's a shift key mishap and not a mistranslation.) I did some close-up comparisons to the lowercase L and capital I to see if there were any differences that would set them apart, but there was nothing that I could see. They both appear to be the same height and width. No matter what the case, it can still be fixed. (Jao Delma and "hoton reactor" were corrected, after all, so there's hope for this.)

I would like it if they changed 'Repca' to 'Replica' like how it should be.

Fun fact: Did you know that there are three people in California with the last name "Repca" (http://names.whitepages.com/California/last/Repca)?

I'm sure they'll fix 'Nel' to 'Nei'...possibly.

Actually, I'm fairly certain that both Agito and Duradul are supposed to be Repca, not Replica. Now, I don't actually know any Japanese, so I'm just guessing here, but the JP name is "REPUKA" which looks more like Repca than Replica to me, considering those Us don't really get pronounced. I would anticipate something like REPURIKA for Replica. Then again, just a guess.

Yeah, the katakana is レプカ, (REPUKA) You'd think that Repca should have been fairly obviously intended to be Replica though- I mean Durandal Replica is even spelt right :lol: It's possible Replica wasn't intended, but I seriously can't think what else 'Repca' could mean.

Just seems pretty strange to make these kinds of typographical errors.

They also snuck in a name change for the axe formerly known as Hadernoh, now called Badernoh. No mention of this change was ever made to my knowledge. I only know of it because I keep one in my shop so I can easily get to it on my alts.

Going by one of the laws of videogames, the power of a female character is related to their breast size, and inversely related to the amount of clothing they have. Using this law, it is a proven fact that Nel > Nei, which is why Sega decided to make the name change.

That being said, I've gotta hunt myself one of these and keep it on my person. I hope it's not only used for the Neiclaw...

Also, if you're on PC and pick one up from Mama Brain (or someone in your party picks one up), check your drop log. Just change the font to something that has an easily distinguishable L and I and there you go.

Jigo Booma should drop Ash Soul, not Nei Soul.
