I only saw that commercial once in my entire life.

I did, however, see the version where a lady comes out and goes 'HEADON APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD...I HATE YOUR COMMERCIAL. But I love your product.' a few times.

I used that stuff once because I was at a friend's and that was all they had.

Not only was it slimy and gross and didn't work, later on that night as I was driving home I sweated and it got in my eyes and I couldn't find a place open to stop at for like 10 minutes.

I don't think my eyesight has ever fully recovered.

They did this to also advertise Zoo York.

Those ads were soon replaced with the roaches on the benches getting truck smashed by ollies and pivots.

But then the shirts are pretty cool, with the NY skylines and overhead views. Street sign tie dyes, not so much... baby.
