Well, it's taken me a while, but I've put my account marked for cancellation. The only reason I've even been playing is to be with a friend, but I can't keep throwing cash anyway on a game that's being left for dead.

Until something good is released (READ: NOT LOBBIES), I don't see how this is worth my subscription fee anymore. My account ends on the 21st (funnily enough, the same date Rock Band 2 releases in the UK, which will keep me occupied), and if there's nothing good added by then, I don't think I'll be renewing.

I'm really sorry to the people I play with, but I'm just sick of being in a game that's going nowhere fast. I still love the game, but eh.

I'll be coming back on, soon enough. However, I'm currently working on a glut of games I need to play, enjoy, and finish, before I do. It's pretty much what i came back to after my vacation. It was partial coincidence, and the fact that my vacation spilled into November, that holiday season big releases happened at the same time and with that, the friends of which I need to share experiences (co-op play) etc, with.

P.S. - I'll have to admit. I also like the Left 4 Dead reference. I just checked out one play of that demo, last night. If you want to know how many undead monsters you can fit into one small room, that's the game that will show you. I think I found out why kids today are so scared of clowns. They and undead hordes have figured out the same *clown car* secret.

Funny enough, I'm pretty much not thinking about what could come to PSU, lately. I figure, I come back and see something new regardless. This past week, in addition to my vacation, has kind of left me away from this game.

I think it's for the best. If I was playing right now, I'd get burned out by the time content was actually released, and I do have intentions of returning. I hate to make updates sound so important, but ST made it that way. If everything was released from the beginning, it'd be different. But no, we're constantly improving our stats by grinding and leveling, and the things around us aren't keeping up. I almost can't believe it's taking this long to fix a glitch in an event.

At this point I would rather forget about Carnival. Send us Yasha and Falclaw to our common boxes (since they're not obtainable otherwise, as are a few other items), and move on. It's holding back updates way too much, and now I'd much rather have some game content to get us a little more back on track.

We're 7+ months behind, that's just ridiculous.

It's kinda annoying really, I want to play the game, but I have almost everything I want and no-one is ever online anymore. The game needs some massive updates/fixes to bring people back- beating around the bush saying a Carnival fix is 'being worked on' isn't doing anyone any favours...

Not exactly true. While I love playing PSU, I find myself with very little left to do.

I have 1 completely capped character (exp/mp/pa's), and another that is very close. All 4 of my characters are at level/type cap. I have most of my palettes set up for the master classes I will be playing. What content that you speak of is left for me? WB is still the only played mission with open random parties (barely) and the majority of my friends list is all inactive.

So I'm left with hunting rares to make money, with the chance that nobody will be left to buy them or continuing the process of leveling more PA's when we may never even see master classes. Yeah, big choice of stuff to do there. I mean I understand there is a shitload of stuff you can do in PSU, but you gotta understand also there are people out there that HAVE DONE IT ALL.

I heard that the Halloween lobby would remain up for three weeks so this week we get nothing. Next week they take down the Halloween lobby and if we are lucky they give us the Autumn lobby. Don't expect no real gameplay updates anytime this calender year like masterclasses or an event. I have pretty much given up on any of that happening in 2008.

MAG+ come first before 3-8. not sure if that can really be on December as long term schedule or not, because too many update stated to be done on December which mean they will update during MAG+ period which I never seen any update during event before. Sometimes long term schedule can be incorrect.

You're thinking of Shred the Darkness. LV150+ Gol Dolvas weren't dropping the appropriate item (and there was another bug where when items were dropped in certain blocks of one of the event missions, instead of spreading out properly, they would stack on one another). As compensation for this, rare item drop rates for containers and objects in the event missions were increased. The GBR was not compensation.

that is not adding mission or adding whole GBR on non-event related tho. What I m talking here is different, if you go to check the schedule, you will see..

what I m refering to the update on December chart is that, they need to add HSM S2, 7-8 Story mission, New GBR, new S3 missions, New special co-op mission ALL at December. and the MAG+ alone is already take whole December month. (so yes, according to schedule, it mean they will run GBR during MAG, add rank S3 v1, add S2 party mission, and add totally new mission sp-co-op during the event? That would be very good! )
I m sure they never run event and a new separate missions before. Because everytimes when they have any event, they are soooo promote everybody to spam spam event and give nothing to outside.

What I m expecting here is that, we might get MAG+ next week (my birthday lol) along with the story mission 3-7. and the MAG+ would be short probably around 2 weeks, so that the event will not crash with other missions. (Maximum 3 weeks, but it can't be whole month)

Because I don't think ST is good enough to let MAG+ running while they are adding new missions outside colony.
(but I hope I m wrong, because it would be more fun if they add a lot of update together)

I guess we've had one things fixed on the US/EU servers that was bugged, Bladed Legacy drops, but how long did it take and we didn't get any drop rate increase. :S

ever consider that maybe just maybe none of this has to do with the developers of the game? Sega corp is a rather large company afterall as is Sega of America. the latter being a seperately own subsidary of the main company. they are very capable of making desicions on their own for the western market. they have their own development houses for producing games purely for the western market as well. they're not some dinky little puppet company that can do only what a larger parent company tells them to do. if you want answers you need to go to Sega of America. the game devs have little control as to what happens here i'm sure.

Because in PSU, Kubara weapons are usually denoted with a "c" at the end of the weapon's name (ex. "Sabic" would be a Kubara saber). Since Kubara weapons are, the majority of the time, crappy copies, people stick the "c" on the end of SEGA to say that they too are a crappy copy of what they once were.
