Not sure about anyone else, but claws in Ultimate seem to do more damage than the normal Arlans/Merlans...Perhaps its because they always get criticals when the hit me. Dying from a Claw on Ultimate Ruins isn't too bad, but on Very Hard...at a higher level would be funny, only if the person who died is cocky. The most ebarrassing way to die is when you get surrounded and then try to kill enemies by casting a spell and then watch them all attack at the same time and killing you. Happened to me in Ult. Forest by stupid Bartles...Offline I don't think it would've happened. Indeed, death by claw, a sad way to go.

My poor little FOmarl.....
I had just beaten Vol Opt. Version 2.987656754..... I go to the ruins because I thought I could handle it. The first room was full of claws. Rafoie!!!!! What?! barely any damage! So then I started to spank them with lightning. They came at me and one was right in my face. Zonde!!!(with all the cool little lightning bolts) Then out of nowhere, SNAP!!!! followed by the little "Critical Hit" animation. I lied on the floor dead. I had full health and I was LV.91. My little brother and my friend were watching me play........

I had to pick up the peices of my ego with a tweezer. All in all, it was a pretty funny experience.

Dieing to something so small and fairly weak and pathetic is super emberasing, it never happened to me, I always die either by a trap, when I have low health, or surrounded by 4 or 5 emenies; I mean u can't even swing ur Yamatos like that!

I hate getting surrounded online or when they attack simultaneously. Kireek was right in Battle Training when he made the profound statement, "Don't let yourself get surrounded." (I think that's right..) I always took it as a joke...I feel for the FOmarl who died by a claw on Ultimate, it's happened to me. I was low HP and after killing a wave of enemies, I was standing in an area where the claws appear and as I start running, the suuuuuuuuper slow claw "lunges" forward "poking" me or something and killing me...had to goto town and run back through ruins 3...stupid claws. Didn't Red Ring Rico say something like, "CLaws are weak/easy to kill they should die fast" or something to that effect...Without Gizonde, I don't know what i would do against claws. 0_o

I can't believe nobody has mentioned "death by falling dragon". You know? He's already dead and doing the death scream... you've won the battle with barely any HP because you screwed up somehow, and WHAM he falls on your head.

My personal favorite is in Challenge mode. I love it when a C-mode n00b spots an Al Rappy in c1 and rushes over to take care of it with their powerful Saber only to miss miss miss and then take one hit at max HP and find themselves lying dead on the floor. Never fails to make me laugh. =^.^=

Has anyone ever had the multi-peck attack by six or so Rappies? One hit from that drain most or ALL of your HP on Ultimate... fake in yellow sucks...

And yeah, Claws do a HELL of a lot of damage... they're MUCH more powerful than any swarmers on Ult, since all of their hits are criticals... don't play with 'em...

Falling dragon or mothmants. I think walking on the craters the dragon left as it was dying could kill you in DC, don't know if they still do... or maybe they didn't. Been a while. x.x

As for the mothmants? I went into Ultimate (technically they weren't moth*mants*, but same difference) and got surrounded by them, and then ran out of TP. Then Shifta and Deband wore off, and I had used up my mates a while ago... it went downhill from there.

I used the soft reset instead of going to P2, though, so I kept all my meseta. Meheh. -.o;

It's still pretty bad when you are paying attention, working on some Deminions or Claws then a big ol' nasty Belra Claw comes out of nowhere and gives you the smacketh in the back of the head.

Perhaps the worst way to "die" was in the Famitsu cup.

Someone who was a 120 something hunter got surrounded by enemies on normal, to the point where he couldn't move. Because of their constant attacks and his inability to get hit (high evp, constant evasion) he was stuck. No sword, no spell, no telepipe (Famitsu), nothing. Even taking off all armor didn't work.

Because the rest of us had split up and were in other areas we couldn't go back to save him.

He ended up having to "commit suicide" by disconnecting and restarting his gamecube. Ughh.

We're talking a lv 120 and some on normal here. How shameful. ;P

Elusive_Llama: I was playing multimode offline recently with a friend & what you said happened to him. Somehow as I was killing the dragon, my friend died. I think the dragon fell on him! LOL As for everyone, Ive seen & endured every death youve spoken of...how about these? What about going up against ANY boss & as theyre dying, you die so you gotta start all over again (happens moreso with De Rol Le). How about this? Taking on a Garanz in a similar situation? Yes, the Garanz is dead but its a damn inconvenience! Its ok though. I know a secret about Garanzes that most ppl dont. We all hate FSOD but did you know enemies can get FSOD? Thats right. I & a friend are witnesses to it...TWICE! Happened both times on the DC (online). I should mention this. Heres another funny death: get surrounded by a bunch of sharks or dimenians (this cant be faked because the way they surround you, you literally can NOT move). Anyway, it takes about...Id say 6 or so to force immobility. Try using a telepipe (you wont have the handspace to do Ryuker, trust me). You eventually can spare a sec to do the telepipe & you think youre free...but you arent. You appear on Pioneer 2..........& you die. Of course you get back up but its like you were just performing a play...now THAT is funny! The worst way to die is attacking the Dark Flow while your in his mouth. The worst part was that I knew about the "in the mouth" thing but I attacked it anyway. I killed myself in three swings of my G-assassins sabers. Looked like I had a stroke when I died.

I know that already posted but I just thought of a more embarrasing way to die than form the Claws. You guys know that little ball of Megid that Dark Falz shoots when she's in the air and invincible. Well I've never been killed by it but I know that it's there. It's very...VERY low level too. So what would you do if you got killed by that little ball of Megid..huh? I think that would be Very VERY funny. But that's just my opinion.

i think poison lilly because they can't move, and all they do is poison or paralyze you. I almost died from poison without knowing it, a friend said I was poisoned and used anti. i looked at my HP...2/250
I also have taken 4 direct hits from Falz Megid, with 0 dark resistance w/o dieing...If that isn't lucky i don't know what is.

You can't die from poison, it stops at 1 HP

Excluding ultimate falz I dont think i've ever seen her hit with megid.
