View Full Version : I;ve cheated FSOD death

Okay, so me and my buddy Aoshi were playing a Vhard game, when BAM! I get BSOD... my game dosn't save and my heart breaks... I restart the game, and it tells me that my data is corrupted... so I try what I've heard rumors of... I used a different memory card to start a Multi-player game, then I loaded Jazie V.1 in to a Temp slot... quit game, then returned Jazie back to her memory card. I entered an offline game and... Almost all of Jazie's stuff was still there. the only thing I lost was Meseta, my Second Characters mag, and and a Booma arm... not bad eh? My double saber is still in hand!!! Plus, this worked twice...

Does that really really work? It can be a solution to corruption problems.

I've heard rumors it works, so I had to try it, just because I love my character too much.

It doesn't work. I got corrupted file last night and i tried that. When i tried to copy my character to a different memory card as a temporary character the cube says that i can't transfer because i got a corrupted file. I tried deleting the guild cards but no luck. Thats my second FSOD in a month, there goes my hunter lvl111 again...i'm quitting PSO....

Does opening the GC lid do anything when the game FSODs or BSODs? Haven't tried it myself, but someone told me it worked when he FSODed..
Sorry about the loss, a friend of mine quit because everything he had was lost as well, corruption =(

Wierd, if I ever get corrupted i'll have to try that. It may not work every time but hey its always worth a try.

I have never played online so I have never been corrupted. I just wanted to know cause in the future I will. Now I have a solution, if something happens I will give it a try. THANX http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

thats a good thing to try if you ever get corrupt ill have to remember that just incase
