Hmmm, disappeared for a while there. Long story short went with the PS3, satisfied with my choice, especially with the win with Blue ray. Getting back into the swing of things I've come to a realization about old problem.
You may remember that a loooooooong time ago I posted an unusual problem with my Ver 2 game in which all the rare drops were turned off. I have accepted the following answer.
Though I don't remember this, I must have at one point attempted to "cheat" the game via code breaker, game shark, ect. Why I would do this is a mystery, as I said I don't even remember doing this, however it's the only solution I could come up with. That being said this is also a blessing in disguise. this means that the problem CAN potentially be fixed. Now when a Dreamcast version shuts off all rare drops it can be done in one of these three areas.
1. the shut off comes from the Dreamcast itself, in which case I simply need to buy a new one.
2. The problem comes from the memory card, thus all I need to do is wipe out all my saves :( and start over. This would make it so i don't need to buy anything new.
3. The problem comes from the game, in which case I just need to go find a new one, e-bay should work for that.
4. any combination of the three.
Thus here is my question, when a Dreamcast version shuts off the rare drops due to an attempt at cheating is the turn of switch in which of these three possible areas. I highly regret whatever I had done to deserve this as PSO is my one true love, and if it were in fact possibly to make sweet sweet love to a video game then I'd be all for PSO. In that case there is hope seeing as some guy in Japan is petitioning to try and marry a fictional manga character. (little off topic but it fits the joke.) Gentlemen, I'm seeking the collective knowledge of every PSO fanatic on these board. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
