Boss called me into his office tonight, said the store's not doing so well so they can't keep me.

Went into giving me a big 'Sorry...' speech but I kinda just cut him off with a 'Don't worry about it, to be honest I was actually going to quit and apply for a different kind of job' to which I got 'Oh. Okay. Well, that's a relief. It works out for both of us, then.'

Night shift was slowly driving me crazy, anyways. It really was.

Sure a good 6-10% of my check goes to paying you... but at least i can't lose my job :v

To be honest I haven't been paying a lot of attention to the economy other than what I see on the occasional bit of news, or the odd paper read at a sandwich place.

Though I figure it could be doing better.

My cat sleeps on the heating vent underneath a cabnet/desk thing when it goes on.
She gets all meowy and purr-y.
